I'm thinking of going to fan fest this year. I have always wanted to go but the timing has been horrible( my mid-terms on the same week)

But this time I am out of school and recently less poor.( I have a job completely unrelated to my education \0/)


Would it be better to book now or will I save more to wait for packages?
I'm not wealthy so saving is important.
I am already starting to squirrel away plex.

Packages will be cheaper than other offers on the same day, but if you book accommodation now and flights as soon as tickets go on sale, you will save more money.

The advantage of packages is less paperwork on your end.

hmm.. I used to do that +2 hours a day, 5 days a week, plus 6-10 on 6th day, looked like second snap all day Sunday if I could, but girlfriend/spouse wanted me to look like first snap all other hours including Sunday for nearly 2 years.

You wouldn't believe the effect that has on the Human psyche, and the toll it takes over time. By the end of it, I looked and sounded like this. Might explain why she left me, though I was incredibly relieved once I recovered from the shock. Lol

bring the papers with you and grade then during lunch or something before fanfest schedule starts each day!

I'm sad thoug, for on the dutch site from Icelandair http://www.icelandair.nl/offers-and-bookings/book-packages/package/item228724/EVE_Fanfest/ it states: "This package is no longer open"

Ah! The hint about UK being updated sent me on a journey - and indeed, (as if it should surprise) just the Fanfest page wasn't updated. Searching the Icelandair page for upcoming events, you can find the new one(s).

This year I'm not taking an Iceland air fanfest package. Because last year I ended up taking a flight out on Sunday, at around 7 in the morning. After the Party at the top of the World. Which I left around 2 ish.

Yeah, they kicked me out of Harpa when they wanted to close. And the next day, I had to get up for the golden triangle tour which my SO had booked. I felt like %&*$@!

Yet, flight and hotel are booked again Big smile

Well, on the Dutch Icelandair site, atleast te tickets are available, still missing te info on the hotels.......

Actually I found the prices and the hotels...... bit more expensive than on http://fanfest.eveonline.com/en/info/icelandair.
