This would destroy the large t2 rig market... not that there is really one anyway.

Also the point of the winter expansion is to nerf supercaps... not give them upgraded rigs.

if you ever look at the bonuses from a small rig and match them against medium and/or large rigs, you'll find they are all the same.

Only real difference between the lot is the ship they can be strapped to and the materials required.

XL rigs (for caps, I would assume) would actually cause a small spike in demand for salvage, as they would require more materials than large rigs, even though XL rigs would cut into the large rig market.

This concept would also bring in a balance into the game. It would force capital builders to get new prints and, while this will free up large rigs for battleship construction, it will also... ...there goes my thought train >_<

anywho, bottom line is that Eve could benefit from XL rigs. +1 from me!
