December - Janurary Free Destroyer - I've not got it?

December - Janurary Free Destroyer - I've not got it?
I know the destroyer isn't exactly the best thing in the world but my friend got his and I haven't I think its because my first character I deleted almost immediately as I made him for the wrong team by accident - was half asleep at the time - but I didn't realise you got a free destroyer until after I had deleted the character
His name was Johnathan Jackson in case any devs want to check.
The only reason I think it was this character was because I got the email:
Pick out a free destroyer for Johnathan Jackson when you subscribe - only £6.99 for 30 days

So my friend told me what he did and I checked on this character (Jackson Almari) to see if I could still redeem the Destroyer and I could not any help would be appreciated

You only get that free destroyer if you received a mail from CCP to reactivate / buy game time using the link in that mail.

If you:

Didn't receive that mail

OR

Didn't use that particular link

You WON'T get a free destroyer...

I would have thought that as long as you subscribed in that time
period you would have gotten the destroyer which is still a valid deal atm too.
my friend didn't follow the link as far as I know he just bought a subscription normally also.

Well either way...

Forums won't help you.

CCP GMs don't watch the forums.
The only way to contact a GM is through a petition.

The only CCP guys who watch the forums are those who moderate it, they don't have anything to do with that lost ship and can't help with it. And you will see the occasional Dev here.

tl:dr...If you want GM response, petition it. Forums are not the place.

If you complete the Advanced Military tutorial, you'll get a Destroyer.
They're not actually worth that much though.
Or was it a special edition or something?

Not true.

I made a trial account, and as i upgraded it to full, i got the offer for a free destroyer, right at the payment selection,
never recieved any emails about it and i did not follow any links.

It's small fry for Tau, though. He's like a billionaire. Probably a multi-billionaire. The ISK to buy you a dozen T1 Destroyers wouldn't make a bump in his wealth.

Come to think of it, I'm a billionaire too (although not a multi-billionaire). But I'm lazy. If you want a (T1) Destroyer for a mid-winter gift, I can contract one to you in Jita, but nowhere else.
