this needs to be fixed, half the time it doesnt log any of my damage, and it would be nice to know whats going on when i need it.

When you mean the combat log do you mean the one on you character sheet?

If so this only logs your losses (killed by player or NPC) and player kills that you were involved in.

It helps to hit the target Lol

Also check the settings tab of the combat log.

I just tested it and its working for me. Note that there are indeed many limitations on the log but as far as I can tell it is working. Feel free to submit a bug report however.

In Windows 7 they are also kept in Documents/EVE/logs for offline perusal.

well i got people saying its working for them too, but its not updating real time, it does sometimes but alot it misses alot of the information that im doing (combat information)

Yeah mine misses critical information on a regular basis too.
