since their bringing some new stuff into game bring back old domi where it could run 10 drones. and a new hyperion look :) thats all i ask lol.

I saw Hybrid fixing.

Then I saw Assault ship fixing.

Then I came.

Then whilst doing a wet cleanup on aisle two I imagined a tier 3 Gallente BC with mega blasters and came again.

I'm spent.

Devil called, and as his loyal servant I once more put on the advocates suit and deftly wield the needle to pop your balloon:

1. Since we have have not heard anything about what they plan to do for hybrids and knowing the amount of fail CCP are capable of (projectile over-buff!), the change should be a "meh" at best until proven otherwise.

2. It is the first iteration expansion in Eve history, the fact that they have a back-log so immense that it is even possible to do .. With no proper frame of reference it can at best be considered between "meh" and "what took you so long?"

3. New BCs are already being shot down left and right as it is a flawed concept given the current state of the game. Result of ongoing arguments will be pre-nerfed hulls that may or may not be worth anything.

4. WiS/Incarna are doomed if catwalks, buying dope and gambling is the extent of the vision. I'll need a damn good reason to bother stopping shooting people in the face and go 'indoors'. Hopefully they'll have the balls to realise that whatever wet fantasy started the drive to build Barbie's Mansion will never have the same meaning/impact as a robust FiS game will and leave it as a side-order type of thing.

5. Dust is going to be a FPS and as such cannot have/be/create any win at all. That it will be a console only cements that fact quite handily as Eve stakeholders are to a man on PCs (hurts to realise that a Mac is also a PC doesn't it?). The 'new" players that CCP hope for do not exist as they will have no vested/longterm interest in the cluster .. 6-12 months after launch Dust will be played primarily by Eve players, no amount of bling can change the erratic zapper mentality of the console gamer.

6. We have no numbers so ... sure it may look pretty, but so does the redesigned Maller yet that is still utter bollocks at everything but being a fat brick.

7. CCP has of yet not delivered anything that was not nearing completion anyway (ie. nothing to do with us). They have a long record of making promises that are not kept or watered down so much that we would be better off without it in the first place (lo Dominion sov). Tornado - see above.

I do not care, but the Devil pays me a lot to feign empathy!

It's nice to see there are people who agree to pay $180/year per account for game without new content for 15 months in a row (and it seems like there will be no new content for +8 months at least).

I hope your money will be enough to save CCP/EVE and allow other players to re-subscribe after next expansion (summer?) with actual new content instead of boring winter debugs and clean-ups.

For those of you talking about Incarna and WiS and establishments and whatnot - read the recent Hilmar Interview.

Incarna is on hold, all we get for winter expansion is new CQ. The players have spoken, CCP is working EvE right now, not more incarna, more nex.

The only other active product being developed besides the spaceship component of eve is Dust 514, of course. Which is still looking in great shape and on schedule according to gaming media who have seen the working models.

I know I probably just caused another dozen people to unsub, but whatever. Just wanted to clear the air about those details....
