For me, the main difference is the mass on the c6 > c2/3 and the c5 > c2/3. Trivially easy to roll the c5 > c2/3, the c6 > c2/3 not so easy.

WH effects, mass considerations, and ISK/hr aside...you should really think of joining an established WH alliance before putting up the amount of investment that it takes to effectively live in a C6. If you go at it alone or try to multibox it, you are going to die hilariously at the hands of your new neighbors. I'd give you an expected lifespan of 1-2 months tops in C6 space if you go this route, and I'm not even exaggerating.

Those whom are in large WH alliances make more than enough money to fund their PVP, even though the income is shared. I think this is quite obvious by the amounts of T3 blobs you now see roaming throughout w-space and the numbers of capitals they have. I'm sure 99% of them didn't convert PLEX to ISK to buy those ships.

Another consideration is logistics. Getting stuff in and out of a C6 can be a royal pain in the arse. Safe K-Space exits are fairly rare, and if you don't have people that can fly jump freighters in and out it gets even worse. Your most likely only going to find exits to 0.0, either in your home, static, or somewhere in the pipe, so you're going to have to cyno most of your stuff to a close lowsec or 0.0 entry system with a direct to highsec and ferry your sleeper guts, gas, etc, out via those.

What made you think I wanted to solo a C6?
