How about making them suck less?

Like allowing them to salvage abandoned wrecks without having to target each. The same for corp mate wrecks.

How about lowering the targeting priorities of NPCs against them?

About npc AI thats another question not related with Salvage drone in particular , so cant help there .

I can give you an advice on how making drones salvage random stuff without targeting each wreck 1 by 1 .

Basically dont target wrecks and send them to salvage . Just right click on "drones in space" and select salvage , they will salvage everything around which theyre allowed to .
hope that helps .

Opportunities multiply as they are seized.

Like the above poster said just have nothing targeted, right click 'drones in space' and click 'salvage' Donezo.

Salvage drones are the ****. Sure they need some fine tuning but they're pretty slick.

Also CCP stated they will implement a shortcut button so you can do that easier also ! :)

Tho to make them salvage something which isnt allowed which can for example flag you as suspect or similar , you need to do that manually . Cos theyre pretty educated and dont do criminal actions on theyre own will :D

Bt if i refer to the Old code of New eden citizen habeas corpus para 5 alinea 12
salvage someone else Wreck is not an illegal action...

So How can it be illegal for the drones?

CCP it's time to remove Off Grid Boost and Put Them on Killmail too, add Logi on killmails .... Open that damn door !!

you shall all bow and pray BoB

Sorry but you are wrong.

If you didn't make the wrecks when you do as you suggest it'll say no valid targets found.

I thought these sucked when I had them engage the wreck.

Will have to give this another go, doing things properly of course.

Wrong about what? Would you like to expand on your issues in some coherent manner or would you like to continue to make pearls with your nature's pocket on the forum?

Read the post or stop crying, either way.

If you didn't make the wreck they don't work as he suggested. I know you don't play the game so you are unaware of this.

is assuming that they are MEANT to auto-salvage fleet (white, but not made by the pilot alone/themselves) wrecks, and that their current behavior of NOT doing so, will be fixed, overly optimistic?

Just have nothing tageted and then give them the order to salvage. After that you can target anything and the drones will continue to salvage.
I use a Kronos with 3 tractors fitted to pull all wrecks close to me so the drones dont have to move much to salvage. Works pretty decently after clearing a site. After only the containers are over i loot them as well just by opening them all and keep clicking "loot all"
Of course it isnt nearly as fast as a noctis but i make up the time in without having to switch ships.

How about if we just get rid of salvage drones all together? Then when you realize how nice you have it now, youll ask for them back and be grateful for having them in the first place.

Since the cessation of their usefulness is imminent, may I appropriate your belongings?

A "Salvage Now" button on the HUD would be a lot easier. Click it, and whammo! the salvage is in your cargo bay

I view this as a bug to be honest. I'll talk to the team and see if they agree (which I'm pretty sure they do).

Yeah, salvage drones automatically salvage my wrecks but if it's a corpmates mission even if he releases the wreck (aka turn blue) the salvage drones say no valid targets.

Here sanity, nice sanity.....THWOOK Got the bastard

Can we do another fix CCP, when I search for "salvage drone" with the auto link. it says nothing can be found...Really? I have to type "salvage drone I" to find it in the hyper link.

I'm not complaining cause its an extra letter, I'm complaining that newer players will get frustrated. Its the theory of a thousand cuts. IMO the search function needs to be a little less strict when it comes to searching for items via auto link.
