[Eye Candy] Ship names Visable on the ship Hull

Hiya!

After some searching on the forum to no avail I decided to post about this.
I would like it to be so that when you name your ship the name you choose is printed on both sides of the ship, so if people look closely at it they can see the ships name.

There could either be a standard "name place" for each ship, or you could make it a bit more advanced and have several possible name printing spots on the ship for more customization. All to make your ship more unique.

Another possible feature with this could be to have your Corps logo visible on the hull or your alliances logo... or maybe both, having one bigger or one smaller right after the ships name or before the name.

What say you? Yay or nay? Additional thoughts?

Perhaps put in a lock for "nasty words" and whatnot, like most social network thingys have. Bound to take care of not all maybe but most of those inappropriate names.

inappropriate names already show up on d-scan. there arent that many 'bad' names out there

It's a risk I'm willing to take.

+1 for ship names AND corp, alliance or militia logo.

AFK Cloaking? An afk cloaker has never ganked me. In fact a cloaker at his keybourd has never ganked me either.

If you take a closer look - well, not even needs to be close - the latest trailer, you see that CCP is already pondering about logos, names and stuff™ on your hulls. Nevertheless, the earlier it happens, the better.

Regarding the "funny" names on hulls. Well, it's just yet another way to express your denseness to other players, nothing to worry about. It just gives me more excuses to petition players and eventually remove them from the game. Cannot say that I don't like this.

Just have simple shiny raised Helvetica font letters on certain parts of the ship, I can't imagine drawing 10 letters that hard. No programming expert but if the letters only appeared when you zoomed in you would think this is rather easy.

now, posting constructive criticisms/ praises is perfectly fine and encouraged, or so I hear. Anywho, I would like to also be able to make a "skullking" logo on many of my ships.
