The Subject states the question.

My question will be what will the new number be after DUST goes live?

I will say around 100K a day will be the new average.

No idea how popular Dust is going to be. If the beta is a closed beta, we can't get numbers from that as a guesstimate either.

I doubt it, since they wouldn't be on TQ.

Then again, they do show up in chat? So, maybe?

The reasons I mostly doubt it is because CCP wouldn't want us to know exactly how many Dust players there are. So that when the game begins to massively fail (which it will), they can avoid the "Haha, told you so!" posts. And we would be able to tell, within +/- 20k.

Yes, they will show up on TQ when they move to TQ because its the same universe. They will show up in local chat as well, thus the chat options implemented a few patches before retribution in preparation.

Have to stop being mad jealous about not being able to afford a ps3, its sad.

I was thinking that they would show up in local chat. If not then what does the infantry number mean in the chat window?

Start the day off slow and taper off from there.

They are on TQ.

I thought they were on their own server, and that that server just connected to TQ.

Did CCP say they were physicall ON the server? I don't remember that.

They will be on TQ as much as we are. Multiple servers are simultaneously responsible for us being on TQ and handling what we do.

I just didn't recall seeing them say it would be our cluster.

Well if they do display the number I hope it's 3 instead of 1.

Eve numbers.
Dust numbers.
Combined numbers.

I like being able to see how many people are actually in EVE when I log in.

Thanks for pointing it out. I somehow missed while scrolling at first.

I KNOW RIGHT

And thank you for immortalising my epic face.

And I think that Dust is moving to TQ later in beta.
