Come on guys. You learned how to play EVE (or did you...Ugh), can't you also read the patch notes instead of asking the same freaking questions over and over?

Bam http://community.eveonline.com/updates/patchnotes.asp read it. If in doubt, don't undock. EVE hasn't changed, space isn't safe.

I have a lover, her name is EVE. I see her every night and all she asks in return is that I have a pilot's license.

CCP should make it even easier by automatically searching for people when they submit a thread, then prompt them that another thread has been detected that is similar to theirs and asks if they really want to post their thread before its submitted to the trial by fire of forum trolls.

Since the cessation of their usefulness is imminent, may I appropriate your belongings?

That's actually a great idea. Do systems like that exist though? Doesn't seem that easy to implement.

Well I would like to see a general overhaul of the Forum search function to make it easier for people to find an appropriate thread. I give people alot of grief for not using it, but I will be the first to admit its not that friendly to use. Giving the threadmaker an option to use tags to tag the thread for relevant topic and easy search, and making search filters to limit search by poster, thread title, keyword, or tag/etc would be nice. But an automatic function to eliminate double posts/ redundant posts/ and similar threads is desperately needed.

Edit: I know that SOME of these options are avail atm, but it just doesnt seem to go far enough to quickly find what you are looking for. You still get too many erroneus threads to look through.

Since the cessation of their usefulness is imminent, may I appropriate your belongings?

Before I can submit a ticket for IT support through a large-scale IT business systems company, I have to type in what the problem is. It then lists a number of potential topics that may have the answer I am looking for. Only after I have scanned through them can I submit a help desk ticket if my question had not been answered. So... yeah, something like them exists.
