Firstly i like to apologies if this is the wrong part of the forums, couldn't seem to find a part of the forums for specifics of hardware.

Hello i'm looking to buy a laptop to play eve, i already have a gaming PC but i'm away mon-fri every week for the next 2 years. So i would like to play eve to keep my fix gooin :)

I'm from the UK and i'm a modern apprentice so my wage is pretty cheap but lookin for a laptop that can run pvp doesn't need graphic just kinda smooth gameplay. I dont need big hardrives etc just good ram and cpu but these days i dont understand laptops, i'm more of a PC Lad. So could anyone help? It would be greatly appreciated.

Btw i'm from the UK so if you link any website which sell a laptop would be good if they ship to UK

Many Thanks

And i370 processor with intel he graphics can run eve fine at 40fps with settings lowered. It's not pretty but you can pvp and mission.

My laptop is old, decrepit and can't even run Morrowind at a decent frame rate... it runs EVE just fine, and I was PvPing on it yesterday.

So, take heart!

I found this would this be suitable. I was told the Gpu must have a shader Graphics thing. Not too sure but heres the laptop

as long as you don't dock up and play barbie most machines should run Eve fine.

I'm running it on a HP Compaq Presario CQ57TU with Intel64 Family 6 Model 42 Stepping 7, GenuineIntel @ 1.90 GHz (2 CPUs) upgraded RAM (6G) and basic Intel(R) HD Graphics (Driver: 9.17.10.2867). So it can be done, and cheaply for that matter Lol

Thanks for all the information guys, much appreciated. I had a look and found this a quad core with a gpu with 5.0 shader so sohuld be great for eve 4gb ram, so all nice. Can i have someone to look at it and just say if it could deal with alot of situations. I wont be gooing into 20v20 fights wel lhopefully not so mabye a little gank now and there but mainly ratting and missioning for the next few months atleast.

most any bargain laptop will run EVE just fine. I picked up a satellite this year for under $400 and I even play new vegas and skyrim on it. Just don't get a crud cpu like a celeron or whatever.

I'm in it for the money
