Boosting faction standing

Hello my fellow capsuleers,

I recently started FW for the mighty Minmitar. However, my current standing is -3.5 (long story). Over time I've collected a huge amount of tags from missions and I'm curious if I'm able to hand these in anywhere to improve my standing?

I know I can sell them on the market, but I'm sure I heard on the grapevine that these can be handed in to complete missions / increase standing.

Is this right?

The first person to give me the answer I want receives a free baloon. And lots of man hugs from me.

If they are still around, check out COSMOS missions. If I recall correctly they are almost exclusively faction standing and require lots of tags.


EDIT:Actually I was thinking of the Data Center missions particularly...again haven't run any of these in years but I think they are still available. http://www.eve-wiki.net/index.php?title=Data_Centers

run FW missions/plexes and you'll get promotions.

you should be way into the positive standings once you reach max rank with the heathen minmatar militia.

Well, the reason I pointed at that other post was that the OP asked about what to use the tags for.....and those data center missions are exactly that.


Sorry, I was not trying to run over your plan which will work too, but did not seem to be what the OP was asking for.

Also keep in mind, if you don't stop awoxing, you will never have a good enough faction standing, as each kill contributes heavily to your negative standing with your own choosen faction. Good luck!
