I poured through TIPIAK's killboard last night when I heard about this and didn't see any awoxing this month. I don't know if I missed something but I'd appreciate some of these incidents being linked.

Edit: Senkh was kind enough to mail me regarding the incidents and I declare my personal support of SotF in this situation.

Edit 2: I should clarify, I only support SotF should they not receive reimbursement of friendly kills and provided they make a good faith attempt to resolve the situation.

I see TIPIAKS fighting for the Gallente in Heydieles and Fliet all the time. This dispute likely similar to the many "misunderstandings" between a Gallente Militia entity and SoTF that probably ought to be resolved between themselves.

Any Gallente militia pilot including any pilot in TIPIAKS is welcome to come into my plex and help me defend it.

If anything, I'm sure TIPIAK's transgressions against Gallente militia pilots (they are likely only against SoTF) are small compared to those done by SoTF in the past. And if we can continually give SoTF the "benefit of a doubt", then I'm sure we can give TIPIAKS some leeway here and let them resolve their dispute with SoTF without the rest of Gallente militia piling on them.

Just my opinion. I'm sure there are others out there who think SoTF needs all the help they can get against entities that can't use titan bridges.

We tried resolving it in private, they resulted to personal attacks and insults.
We tried resolving it through a wardec - if we don't lose standings when defending ourselves, there's no problem.
Their response was blatant lies in militia chat, which just prompted others to chime in explaining that it wasn't directed at us.

Their CEO convoed me to explain that they would refuse to apologize and reimburse evne the last of their victims, and that they were proud of shooting the federation. This is why one of their members stepped up to apologize in his place.

It's not about any benefit of doubt, it's me saying this is what we're doing, this is why we're doing it. Other chimed in that they wanted to be part of it, so we made it public. This is me giving them a chance to simply say they're sorry and let us all move on. Like I've repeatedly stated, I'd be happy to share logs of me repeatedly talking to them, both in text and in voice. ALL we've been asking from start to end is that we go back to the status quo we had prior to the harassment. I'm far from trying to be unreasonable.

If you have a better course of action than to ask for them to reimburse the losses they cause and move on, by all means do tell. If you think it's unreasonable to ask for a public apology after their public insults and humiliation - say that. There's nothing to doubt, there's nothing to guess, I'm saying anything and everything I can about it, and it's really not that complicated. But by all means, do tell if there's anything more you want to know.

You're free to do what is in your best interests. As is everybody else.

All I can say is that TIPIAKS has not attacked any other entity in Gallente militia (so far) and that they have been actively fighting for the Gallente militia since they have been in FW.

If other militia corporations want to pile on TIPIAKS on the side of SoTF, then they're gonna pile on.

They attacked my vagabond after I killed a neutral miner who was supposedly an alt of theirs when I was in [PCINT] (they did not communicate this to me before the engagement). Being purple to me let them get hard tackle quite easily, since they aren't on my overview and I had no reason to suspect hostile purples. I tried to get them to stop shooting while tanking him for a really long time (XL-ASB mega resist vaga), and finally just had to give the OK for my folks to undock and blow him up.

I've seen corpies get shot at by SOTF as well back before we were blue, but there usually was a more logical reason for it than "you unknowingly killed my neutral mining alt in low sec, so I will kill this friendly vagabond to punish you"

Hehe just to be clear, I am not advocating anything, nor do I represent the opinions of JUSTK

That post was purely my experience in a tiny tiny corp that consisted of just me and some inactive RL friends, and I had the feeling that I was only engaged because it didn't look like I had any backup/friends/diplomatic ties.

I would like to add that TIPIAKS did however state that they weren't aware of the rules and that this wouldn't happen again. However, what this means is a bit hazy, as I thought it was clear that "neutral" means I can shoot or not shoot you depending on my mood as we have no relations whatsoever. Purple is supposed to mean ally as far as I know.

Okay, I'm locking this thread.

Reasoning is as follows :

  • If you guys have issues with eachother in game, keep them in game.
  • If you feel you are being harassed, file a harassment petition. Coming to the forums to troll will not solve the issue.
  • If you want to settle your differences with a war, do so in game and shoot the hell out of eachother.
  • Don't let your out of character animosity overflow onto the forums and lead to trolling and flaming here.
  • Finally, don't re-open this topic. It's been locked for a reason.

Again, I'll reiterate. If you feel you're being harassed in game, file a petition.

The forums is not the place to resolve this.
