Hello again, Pod people!

I am pleased to finally announce our next CSM7 Town Hall meeting, which will be hosted on Saturday, Dec. 8 at 20:00 EVE Time, and should last approximately two hours. The focus of this Town Hall will be on gathering feedback for the Winter Summit , which will take place the following week on Dec. 12-14 at CCP HQ in Iceland. We appreciate your patience as it has taken a while to secure permission to share the list of topics for summit, which until today were under NDA (a few specific sessions still fall into this category, unfortunately).

The format for this Town Hall will be a departure from the previous Town Halls we’ve conducted this term, in favor of a much more interactive approach this time around. Two step and myself will be moderating along with DJ Wiggles of EVE-Radio, who will be facilitating the streaming of the meeting. Kelduum Revaan will be making the EVE University mumble server publicly accessible so that players can ask questions or share comments directly, with participants in a muted channel so we can allow a single speaker at a time. The EVE-radio stream will ensure that players without Mumble won’t be required to download and install any software just to tune in.

We will do our best to create an “open mic” feel, though we encourage participants to be respectful of everyone else’s time and allow us to hear as many players as possible. The meeting will be recorded and made available for download, so that we can skip duplicate questions or topics in order to cover maximum ground with the time available.

In the mean time, we encourage everyone to visit the summit topic threads being posted this morning and begin sharing your feedback.

For the Mumble information, you can follow the instructions here: http://mumble.eveuniversity.org.

Basic Instructions:


  1. Download Mumble 1.2.3a or greater from http://mumble.sourceforge.net/, and install it.
  2. Start it up, go through all the wizard stuff and set it to use a push-to-talk key.
  3. Server > Connect > Add New...
  4. Label: Whatever you want.
  5. Address: Mumble.eveuniversity.org
  6. Port: 64738
  7. Username: Your EVE Character Name.
  8. Click OK.
  9. You will be connected to the server, and dropped into the relevant channel.


Around 30-60 minutes before the townhall is due to start, the authentication will be turned off, at which point a password will not be required.

If you have problems with this, you can still listen in on EVE Radio, who will be rebroadcasting the stream.

Since this was on mumble one can assume that it was recorded on mumble? Where is the download for this? Android can not do flash and that is all the Eve Radio provides Ugh

This is kind of Poetics area so

Can anyone tell me if anything was really said other than fix the EvE/Dust link?
I listened to the whole thing but I seem to have not really heard anything of any importance.

Any spelling, grammatical and punctuation errors are because frankly, I don't care!!
