Kill Rights Exploit

I have been popping ships left, right and centre in Jita for the past few days. I have noticed that some people are abusing the kill right system by shooting themselves with alts and placing kill rights worth a billion ISK on them. Granted thats not an exploit but annoying. I have spoken to one guy that has done this. He says he has a legitimate kill right for 5 million yet all I see is his billion isk kill right. This billion isk kill is protecting him.

Here's another. quite a few people are doing this and I have been caught out too. You get a kill right worth a mill or so and die to it. Then get another and place it at whatever you want. 50, 100 etc. Because CCP has ****** this system up, previous kill rights still show. I lost mine 3 days ago yet others still see me having one. With this happening, its easy to exploit this and make some quick ISK. I double clicked a purchase button (1st click was an invalid million, second was 25 mill.) It only showed the "Kill right is no longer available" BS and then the target started flashing. I shot said target and they docked. A little while after I noticed my wallet blinking. 25 mill disappeared yet at no point did it tell me I was to pay that. It always said 0. Then when the guy undocks again, it says 0 and he rinses and repeats the same process.

Where in the EULA did you forget to read about not discussing exploits in the forum?

I guess you will have a little vacation from EVE for the next few months...

Well if the CCP devs paid more attention to petitions regarding this issue instead of commenting on every post on the forum then maybe I wouldn't have reported it here.

Oh and FYI, it says nothing about this being a bannable offense in the "Reporting Exploits" section here: http://support.eveonline.com/Pages/KB/Article.aspx?id=27

Not really an exploit if you are putting a global flag on them then you are asking for them to use an alt to remove it, like the previous bounties.

If you are clever you'd post on the forums and see if any bounty hunters want the rights and sell it to them.

Or you'd give the rights to your corp/alliance etc.

You didn't read my post properly or read and understand the new bounty rules. I did not mention anything to do with alts claiming bounties. The new rules were made so that you cannot do this. It would cause and extraordinary ISK loss to remove the bounty yourself.
