Bring back crowdsourcing threads!

As a complement or enhancement to the "little things" threads, could we have another crowdsourcing thread every six month or so?

I found these were useful in order to "clear the air" so to speak. At the very least they provided some amount of "bread and circuses" to keep people feeling like they were involved.
