Devs,

New AI in missions makes it more challenging and fun to play. It takes a little more skill and action. Not every new player should be able to suck the Isk/LP faucet of level 4s. This is going to gradually help EVE's over all economy and make it more profitable to the people that change and adapt their game play with new changes.

I also would like to think you for the nerf to range of the missles esp how it effects the tengu. It will require the new players to train more than just a tengu before being able to effectivly run level 4s.

I myself have seen no difference in how it effects as far as mission time/ killing ships as I dont use drones plateforms nor do I use a tengu. Yes I have lost a few more drones then normal (previously almost none).

I would also like to remind people that this new AI will help bots not farm missions which will entail make it more profitable to run level 4s as LP wont be as common.

I would like to add I am personally looking forward to BS/and their tech 2 varient being revamp in the coming year or so. Right now mauraders are in horrible ship as salvaging on the go is about useless with the introduction of the noctis.

Again thanks... This was something that has been needed to be done for a while. Please continue to make it harder for new players to make isk... When my mains started playing it wasnt as easy as it is now for nooblets. They should have to pay their dues as older players once did.

New players cant suck on that "isk faucet" since it takes 2 months for t2 guns and thats not including hull itself and tank, nevermind social skills...by then they are not new players.

If you are a year old you are still new.. Which you are able to train to a tengu with excellent skills with in 1 year... When you have players that have been in the game for 10 years... 1 year of time is laughable.. you are still new...

When I started... You had 2 months of learning skills you had to learn before it was productive to train anything useful... So cry me a river.

Yeah and those learning skills were dumb. You are acting like that really grumpy old guy who thinks that everyone should go through the same stuff you did. "well sonny back in my days blablabla ........you kids have it too easy, show some respect blablabla". Also, post with your main.

Cant I am banned from forums with both mains for several months.... and as i do love how the game changes and evolves I dont think everyone should have to go through every little thing as I did when I am new... But I think it shouldnt be handed to them on a silver platter.

No, it makes running missions more tedious while still being as boring as it always has been. It doesn't take any skill to recall your drones when they're targeted. It's just another uninteresting thing to do.

You dare calling players more recent than you "nooblets", even though you lose drones to NPC? Considering the fact that you just have to not launch them more than 10km away and recall them as soon as you're not being attacked by the frigs anymore, you sir, fail.

Again thanks... This was something that has been needed to be done for a while.

No. More randomness in the spawns, or missions with stronger but fewer NPCs needed to be done. Nothing should ever be done that makes something already boring more tedious.

Since according to many the "goal" of the game is PvP combat, and PvP combat requires ISK, it's simply stupid to nerf one's way to earn it. Not like there was too much PvP combat before the patch, is it?

Please upload a video pl0x. You, not a friend of yours. I'm tired of fake null-sec players claiming missions are SO MUCH MORE DYNAMIC AND FUN LULZWORTHY LAWLS even though they never intend to run missions nor have they ever.

hummm , not much constructive around here , here's my 2cents , people will avoid certain missions , while focusing on others , we already do that , making only ... maybe 50% of lvl 4 mission worth running, before the last expension 66% where worthwhile . Anything with lots of frigates and cruisers is just a huge waste of time... you are either perma disrupted with a lame range, drained of cap in seconds , overwhelmed by dps no ship can survive while being warp scramble and webbed .

nothing great overall came out of this , the pve part of eve is being chipped away , while never receiving any love for at least 4-5years ... some people are overjoyed with this but that's really short sighted we are a cornerstone of the economy .

Since the Devs themselves said this patch makes AFK drone boating easier and safer I'm going to go ahead and call this troll for what it is. TROLL.

I'm pretty sure mining bots are more harmful than ...*snickers* missioning bots? LOL they don't even salvage so what's the point...? Knowing CCP, this will never get fixed. ever. So I shall try to make a living through ship spinning however, I guess i can try min-JNDFGUJAERHNGUHNAERIONHGIOAWERGVIAEORJG

Hi there. Mostly new player here, at around just shy of 8mil SP.

When I left the game in 2010 for personal reasons I was able to do Level 4 missions with difficulty in my largely Tier-1 equipped Maelstrom. Doing so required quite a bit of knowledge and research for me to handle, since if you are warping into a large room with a lot of enemies you really need to understand kill order, triggers, etc.

After all, in a mostly Tier-1 Maelstrom I didn't have the DPS to chew through the battleships like someone in a more advanced, Tier-2 fitted ship.

Well now I can't run the missions at all, which is disheartening since it is something that I really enjoy about EVE (I don't grind them out) and since I recently returned after a 2-year break I really need the ISK to break back into other aspects of the game thanks to inflation.

The problem isn't so much the drone aggro issue as it is the hardcore EW being used against me and the full-room aggro. I actually nearly lost my Maelstrom on my first mission after returning because I didn't know about these changes; the only reason I was able to survive is because I got a lucky shot against the frig that was scramming me and warped out with something like 10% armor left.

I think it's somewhat disingenuous to tell someone like me "learn to play!" because that's exactly what I'm trying to do. I know that some people use missions as primary sources of income and never leave High Sec, but who really cares about those people anyway? It's like they are just making money to have money since they aren't heading out into 0.0 and affecting wars.

Honestly, who cares about the people who want to stay in High Sec forever and never leave? If that's what they want to do, then let them.

So speaking of disingenuous... coming to the forums and making a fake, sarcasm-laden "Thank you for making missions nearly impossible!" thread really doesn't help the situation. Some people (like me) joined EVE to be a combat pilot and they don't want to mine, or trade, or manufacture, or ransom miners; missions exist so that these people have a way to make money on-demand like so many other professions.

If you take that away from a new player -- or a player who recently reactivated -- what do you think is going to happen?

And you wonder your main is banned from forums? I would say the mods missed you too.
