Erf, buy yourself a nice car/bike boat and travel then, when some nice looking lady means money it's time to make her meet someone you really hate.

Detente works best.

She has "Real Housewives of Orange County"

I have "Eve."

I agree not to aggro RHOC.

She agrees not to aggro Eve.

If Detente is broken MAD is in place (Mutually Assured Destruction). Either of us can downgrade cable bundle getting rid of RHOC channel and strangling bandwidth.

Peace ensues.

No problems keep the things balance. Spend some time to getter or dont. If you wife is asking you for some time you doing something wrong. My wife loves here tv and i like to play games on pc. So there is zero problems between that Lol keep it balance there is more things in life than playing till you die Cool

my g/f aggros me every day, you learn to live with it. sometimes she sits here talking thinking i'm listening (shes doing it right now) and that seems to sate her, but most of the time she wants me to watch some buttshow like criminal minds or law and orders: SVU (or, "****" as i like to call it), i'm relegated to a silent soundboard for random thoughts she has, stuck in the living room (the RL rapecage)

I usually yield to these demands because shes the only person alive that has sex with me, and sex is more important than one more forlorn hub, also I would like to think it will be around long after EVE, but my life is full of wishful thinking.

Its better than being alone m8s

I like NCIS, Criminal Minds, Hawaii 5-0, Rookie Blue and a host of other similar shows myself. Criminal Minds is getting a bit old though.

^^ This, it’s hypocritical to complain about spaceship games while suggesting watching the TV is a good way to spend time.

Research also shows that active entertainment is better for your mental health than passive entertainment. i.e. computer games are actually better for you than TV assuming you're sensible with your time. That’s why we are all so much more intelligent than our wife’s.

We all need our own space (no pun intended) in a relationship. If she can't allow you to have that space, it's time to seriously reconsider your position.

I would start the game and she would call me, I'd answer but get no response so I go to see what she wants. She asks me if I want a coffee, this isn't because she couldn't answer me while I was on the PC, it was just a ruse to get me away from it. I return to my game and she calls me again 2 minutes later, again, no reply from her when I answer. A minute later, I see her in the garden mowing the lawn in a real huff because I have not offered to do it for her. The main reason is because I only mowed it myself yesterday and it doesn't need cutting again. Another ruse to try to make me feel guilty about letting her do the hard work. That night I get the cold shoulder because I left her to do the job that didn't even need doing. It was just an excuse to be angry with me for playing my game.

I do a very stressful job and I play various games depending on my mood when I get home. A FPS to kill some animated sprites and vent my frustration on them harmlessly rather than exploding when my family says something that I'd normally just shrug off. Not being able to have my own space to vent my frustration and aggression built up over the day meant I blew up into a rage when she decided to wind me up further.

After careful consideration, I am now divorced and single and able to play as often as I damn well please. I am now 54 years old and I can't see the rest of my life being any different. My view of women now is that they drain your wallet, your energy, your time and they'd drain your very soul if you allowed them to. I'm happier now I am single than I ever was when I was married. I can do what I want, when I want and how I want without the constant nagging... It's pure bliss.

Well this doesn't seem right...someone needs to be nagging you a bit. "Pure bliss" isn't natural!!! Now be responsible and submit yourself to some nagging MR!!! ;-)

My wife always aggros me between tv commercials, nag, nag, nag, if I find don't stop playing while she's trying to flap her yap at me it begins, the nothings wrong routine while she makes her displeasure known in different ways, then if I don't relent she uses her lvl 5 crying skill, and not to be without her alt my daughter joins in with by asking the million questions routine, finally I cave, then when I sit there with them my daughter goes back to her computer and wife gets unhappy if I speak during tv show....that's why I love it when they go to church together ahhh, 2 hours of uninterrupted bliss.

Just so you know, I take them shopping, eating, movies and things in general, it's never enough I don't know when I lost my life but women now control me Sadcom'on Japanese invent those fembots and save the next generation of gaming nerds.

You've got more chance of seeing Chuck Norris become a pacifist.

Yeah, I know that one. Normally the lvl5 crying accompanies the "you never do anything for me" routine. Yeah, that's why I just spent the last 3 hours bored out of my skull following you around New Look so you can pick the most expensive outfit to wear only once before consigning it to the wardrobe until you finally throw it out to the charity shop. Be it known that it was my hard earned cash you were spending there and while it made you look good, I don't think the moths in the wardrobe look quite the same in it .

And you have the audacity to call my game a waste of money What?

She is asian.
She has perfect curves.

This is rare among all asians. Eve is not rare.

I welcome her ganks and willingly sacrifice isk and ships to her.

Oh my goodness, this is like MY wife!! And the boobs...oh, the boobs...sometimes, pressed right into my face. They're the equivilant of a pair of Shadow Serpentis Warp Scrambler on a fully skilled Lachesis, and that's without the bit about her just tackling me, no matter what. <3

<--- Wife

Aggro consists of:

"Honey, I need a beer/drink/munchies."

or

"Honey, I pulled Enemies Abound again, come help me"

Although tbh sometimes also make him come play with me in other games too :P

(edit) To be clear, this is me, bugging him :P we are not your traditional family ^_^

Don't forget the Wife with the +3 Goggles of Icy Stare or Ragnarok''s Mask of Frosty Silence.

And then there's the ultimate weapon; Iskur's Talisman of Befuddlement which is invoked by the chant of "If you don't know what's wrong, then don't ask". This never fails to confuse and cause self-doubt in any male within hearing range.

Men have experimented over the years with their own Mantra Of Questing Wisdom, but research into anything with the phrase of "But, what are these cushions for?" have failed to increase any of their wisdom attributes at all.

A wise man in a fit of morning rage at work once told me:

Ya only get one good week , Moe. First, ya have the PMS week were you can't stand the loony broad. Then comes the week of the rag where she lays in bed and gives ya dirty looks. When that's over ya have a week of awkward making up because you have to make believe you ALSO do things wrong....then ya get a good week. That's all there is to a marriage.

Is there any way to get this entire godawful thread posted under the #1reasonwhy hashtag?

"Look any reason why you need to talk like that? I have now reported you. I dont need to listen to your bad tone. If you cant have a grown up conversation then leave the thread["

An old eve freind of mine who has long since quit eve, used to refer to it as 'Girlfriend SCRAM' .

At least his was a 'GF' and not the wife variant like mine which is alot worse i can tell you.

But if you've got the whole package kid + wife / gf, then my sympathy's for you.

:)
