So hi.

I randomly reactivated for Retribution and I'm seeing the incessant NPC AI drone holocaust threads. I enjoy missioning and want to get back into it, but now I'm even more terrified of warp disrupt frigates than I was before. Also the TDing coming from some factions seems pretty horrible, too.

So for L4's are the CNR / Tengu classics still viable choices? My ship skills are such that I can go any number of ways right now, and my missile skills are sorely in need of attention, but that's fine. I've been meaning to get them up anyway.

Right now I have L4 standings for Brutor, so I have to contend with Angels. I thought about moving to Caldari space so I can also easily participate in market mayhem when I'm bored with L4s.

Thoughts? Options? Tea?

Edit: I'm also thinking about reactivating my Minmatar spec'd alt who's got solid logistics skills. That means I could dual box and run a pure gank ship on this guy, but I'm not sure how that will work post-Ret.

Yes. Machariel is immensely popular as well and for a reason, though personally I prefer missile ships. Generally, though, all four races have options to do missions everywhere, just not at optimal speed.

Machariel (or vargur if you like salvaging and looting) and "minmatar" missions is most likely best combination atm when it comes to l4 missions.

Dual boxing logi in l4s isnt worth it, especially not after patch as npcs will shoot your logi too and you will have to "babysit" both accounts.
