Courier missions - any plans to make them more exciting?

Hey CCP

Are there any plans to make the courier missions a bit more exciting than just to go from station to station?

Security missions are fun to do with stopping pirate leaders, rescue prisoners or just flat out kill some army/objects.

Mining missions, ofc less action packed than security, but still also take you out to places, belts or locations out of the ordinary but in courier missions theres no action only than flying to another station.

It would be interesting if courier missions involved going into fx. a burning factory in space and securing some goods or supplying some stuff at a far away settlement camp or weapons to the front fleet etc.

Just use your imagination :)

Use the Agent Finder, Find a Distribution Agent deep in Low Sec.

Excitement Achieved!

Can't get more exciting than that, you think the New Security Mission AI is bad?

Wait till you see the lowsec AI.

The idea is good, having some courier missions to be dropped off in a Deadspace location.

The main trick to running Distribution missions is to have a few different agents set up and have a few missions active at the same time, load up the items and deliver them to destination along with picking up other items to deliver back to agents. At the destination drop off locations can have more agents available to deliver their items basically back in the general location of the first set of agents. Mainly you'll be concentrating on plotting your course to get the bonus time payout from each agent while doing the fastest route possible.

It get's tricky juggling 1/2 dozen active courier missions to complete them all within the bonus time.

There's been a mention that when another players blows you up doing a courier mission in lowsec, you often lose the ship, your clone AND the mission delivery, meaning you also lose standing from the agent for failure..

I think the loss of the last is a lot more painful then losing say a cheap Badger with a cloak, and an empty clone, and since the rewards are meh at best, why would people bother.

My idea to revamp courier missions scripts would be to force people to tank damage (enviromental effects, NPC attacks, etc) have missions that require cloaks and careful navigation, etc etc, even making the idea of needing other players as backup, for fights and reps, but that's just me.

I apparently have no idea what I'm doing.
