Stuck on a tutorial mission "Cash Flow for Capsuleers (3 of 10)

I warped to the location, killed all the pirates but I can't find the secret documets. I checked every wreck, there were some random items on them, but no secret documents. And there are no objects nearby that I can loot (except asteroids which are not lootable).

I've been told to wait and see if more pirates spawn later, but I've been there for 20 minutes now and nothing.
Also, I can't quit the mission since I get the warning that I wont be able to get it again because it's a story mission.

The mission objective for that mission should spawn in a floating cargo container next to the last enemy you kill. Containers should appear with a diamond icon in space (if you havn't adjusted your settings)
To make sure you dont overlook the item, go to your Overview Window, click on the icon in the topleft corner (with the 4 horizontal lines) and in that menu, select "show all brackets". It should be visible somewhere in space then.

It is also possible you accidently have shot the item, destroying it in the process - or if someone else came into your mission and stole the item.

Not to worry though, after the next downtime (11:00-11:30 eve time) the mission will be reset, so you can try again. No need to cancel / quit the mission.

just come to think of it, another possibility *might be* to buy the required mission item off the market or contracts, and hand that in to complete your mission. (this doesn't work for all missions though)

Best to wait till after Downtime when the mission will reset itself. If the mission objective doesn't drop again, then file a petition in game - Character stuck - - Mission in progress. Dev's / GM's usually reset the starter missions very quickly or at the very least spawn the mission objective for you to complete the mission.
