First off, thanks for taking the time to read what my corporation is about.

I set up The Dead Rabbit Society to achieve something unique in EVE. Something nobody else is doing. It is a lofty goal, but certainly achievable; all it takes is the right pilots.

• We are a small gang focused corp that enjoys small engagements
• We are also a corporation in the Drunk ‘n’ Disorderly alliance- We also enjoy and get involved in some big fights
• So one day you could be in a Frigate, the next a Battleship - we like variety and fly all races and sizes of ship
• I’m after talented pilots with solid skill points under their belt that can enjoy that sort of variety
• But who you are as a person also matters, we a friendly group, that enjoy flying together
• We don’t dumb down fits, but rather push fittings and skills to become the best we can in the ships we fly
• As such, I expect pilots to finish off any important skill training for the ships they fly
• Our long term goal is to combine innovative ships and fittings in gangs nobody else is doing or trying
• I encourage pilots to try fly solo from time to time and learn about the game mechanics as much as possible
• We are EU TZ focused and fly in Black Rise and surrounding lowsec and 0.0 regions.

In EVE people pick the best ships for the job, Flavour of the Month and all that. Pretty soon everyone also ends up flying the same ships, doing the same tactics they saw somebody else doing. And if that fails, they just gank you.

There are very few innovators; my corp will be one of the few that is.

We will always look to find different ideas and implement them in new and interesting ways. As such we fly all races and all ships — we like to take out a wide variety of different sorts of roams and experience many different types of PvP.

For example, one of our longer term goals is radical — to fly Caldari small gangs and fleets. And by this, I mean every ship in the fleet is a Caldari ship.

At first, this self imposed limitation seems counterintuitive to many, because it removes ships from a fleet that could be useful. But it actually creates many interesting tactical ideas instead, ideas that makes life very difficult for the enemy FC and fleet we are fighting.

Personally, I’d rather innovate like this. Do something totally different. Push fittings and fleets in different directions to enjoy the game in new ways. Be a trailblazer. Even if it is difficult, or goes against the grain.

Underpinning this philosophy is a desire to enjoy difficult, complex fights. Indeed, my idea of nirvana is fighting outnumbered and outgunned, yet still holding the field. In the past I have experienced this when I flew in Rooks and Kings, who excel in this sort of combat.

So, in a nutshell, this is what my corporation is about. You'll end up flying a lot of different ships, with many different races, in different sorts of situations, and having a lot of fun. My focus is on finding great pilots that understand this philosophy and become a great addition to our team.

My corp has been around now for over nine months. We initially started doing Faction Warfare for Caldari Militia, as that looked like it could be fun when Inferno was released. But ultimately it didn't take us in the right direction. After a summer hiatus on my part, we have successfully restarted the corporation and making solid progress.

We are still not the finished article — thats why we’re recruiting of course; I want to reach a regular number of active members to join our own gangs and also bolster the alliance fleets.

What I expect is a positive attitude. A willingness to listen and adapt. Take losses on the chin. And a desire to become the best damn pilot in the ships you choose to fly. Lastly, we are EU time–zone focused. I can only offer fleets in this time–zone at present.

Meanwhile... in EvE we have been able to recruit some solid players to come fly with us and help us get things started. The waters warm folks ;)
