having a bounty on you doesn't allow them to activate suspect flag. so they still have to suicide. one of my alts was given a bounty for no reason other than "EVERYONE SHOULD HAVE BOUNTIES!" according to one person

if you cannot deal with this then please contract me all your items and isk.

Tedium and difficulty are not the same thing, if you don't realize this then STFU about game design.

When boba fett came to kill luke skywalker he didn't sit there crying how he didn't do anything wrong. Such is the point of bounties. Someone has payed to have you killed, as in real life the reason matters not and cannot be inforced.

Edit: NM many people have beat me to it... I will save my isk for a virgin target.

I hope you realize that the fact that you posted this is EXACTLY what they were paying for and while I don't know how high your bounty is I suspect you sold it cheap. They put a bounty on you ONLY to get under your skin and lo and behold it worked.

Besides how do you know you didn't sell the ore or minerals that were used to construct the weapon used to kill the guy who put the bounty on you. No one in this game is guiltless. Your bounty is not baseless.

But there's good news, the novelty of this system will wear off soon enough and you'll no longer have to worry about it.

Reality has an almost infinite capacity to resist oversimplification.

Give it a few months. This is a new and very cool toy but just like the furby people will lose interestin sperging 100k bounties everywhere and the first wave of bounties will expire.

It's like freedom of speech. When complete asshats can say horrible things, you know you can say what you want. Here in EvE, when this guy can place bounties on miners, I know that i'll be able to place bounties on people who confuse "to" with "too" in local. Also in corp chat. Pretty much any chat, really.
