no login screen

After thelast autoupdate, every time i press "play" in the launcher, the login screen that opens is completely black, no username/password controls, and no background. Anyone else experiencing this ?

How long do you wait for the login screen to appear? I myself have experienced hardware and local network lag that has caused wait times of up to 60 seconds before the login screen appears.

well i have tried again right after posting here and its still blank. I am installing on another computer right now to check there also.

You might want to try running the repair tool before going to that trouble.

its working on the second ( much slower and outdated, but in the same network ) computer. Weird. Ill try the repair tool. Thank you

Thank you. Repair did nothing in itself ( nothing showing it was running ) but next time eve downloaded the repatch again and now its working, the only issue is that it lost all the settings ( account names, start configuration - it starts in stations environment, stuff like that ). Nothing serious, just weird.

If per chance you collected a log for the repair tool, you may wish to file it, along with a description of the problem, as a bug report for our Bug Hunting team to look at. I am glad that the issue seems to have been resolved though Cool
