Most Wanted Corporation! (ATM)

I was really looking forward to the new bounty system. Being a player in a small corporation, i'd set aside half a billion to put onto players that had destroyed me in the past. Specifically, people that had cost me large amounts of isk from particular losses. How else would a small time player hope to get revenge on those that had wronged him? So, i put about 50mill on each of these players, focusing mostly on those with low security who i thought it would impact the most.

Little did i consider, the possibility that one or many of these individuals might be WEALTHY BEYOND BELIEF and respond to the pitiful 50million bounty with an insane 5billion bounty, on my entire corporation no less. And so, my corporation has been thrust to the top of the pile, and (at least, for the time being) become the most wanted corporation in all of new eden! To add insult to injury, the person who placed the bounty has admitted to me that he wasn't even the owner of the character when it was used to kill me! Just goes to show, some people are ludicrously rich!

As much as it fills my soul with a dark foreboding, a deep sense of dread of the imposing end of days, i can't help but feel proud at seeing the Inner 5phere, standing tall in the light of EvE, famous for a fleeting moment.

And no, i don't live in highsec.  As if that would make your opinion any less wrong.

Can't you just disband & reform your company under a different name with all the same people?

Yeah, they can do it again, but then so can you. Odds are they will have less patience than you do.

Just like now you can't go ganking or gate camping without threat of retribution, you also can't place bounties without threat of retribution...

... What was this expansion called again?

Xen's being pretty cool about this. I'd be disappointed if the corp reformed. It's just the wrong sort of ending to this story

Yeah anyone know what "Bounty reimbursement" is all about? Keep seeing it appear in my wallet, and can't seem to find any reference to it anywhere. Its almost as if the bounties i've placed on people are being refunded.

And no corp reformation! We're here till the bitter end!

Come at me bro! Cool

My understanding is that all bounties were reset, so that was a refund from a bounty that you had placed previously

If only you didn't live in a C3 and just logged off every time someone entered your Wh...

Pretty sure that bounty won't be collected in a very long time.

Seems everyone has bounties now, and i can't help but get the feeling that they no-longer hold the meaning and significance that i initially believed. Just about everyone now has got WANTED plastered across their face, regardless if they are a hardcore carebear industrialist that never undocks, or a scum-of-the-earth pirate ganker scammer!

Seeing that it now boils down to simply bragging rights, here's me hoping that more and more people bounty my insignificant corporation. Here's me hoping to retain the top spot! Cool

I'm pretty sure the bounty will never be cleared anyways!

Its a shame though, i was really looking forward to this expansion. I've been waiting for a fix to the bounty system forever, and now its here, it just boils down to an extra 20% isk for everyones kills. Certainly hasn't created a "bounty hunter" profession. Its far to universal.

I think the profession of solo bounty hunter will be difficult, but I think you will start to see small gang corps geared towards hunting down other corporations for bounties.

Hopefully these corps can hunt down griever corps for a right price.
