Bounty display in overview?

I have my overview settings set to show if a player has a bounty (black skull) on him above no or neutral status, yet all I see are pilots with gray squares and no bounties, even if they have one.

When I deselect showing neutral status, the bounty skulls don't show up (in the local list). Is there something I'm missing here?

I believe that the bounty icons only appear on the Overview, not in the local list.
