So I usually run complexes (in lowsec) with a tengu + a teir 3 BC for dps. Warp tengu in, get full aggro, then warp in a gank fit oracle/talos/tornado and massacre the plex. Since the new A.I. in complexes that doesn't seem to be an option.

So I was wondering if anyone was using the tank + dps method before the patch and what you are planning on using now?

You are just going to have to tank both ships enough so they can tank the room regardless of whom the AI hates more.

I guess it depends on what plex's you are doing, but in sansha space you could do 5/10 solo in a dual rep myrmidon. It's pretty slow, and if you screw up in the last room, you might loose the ship, but all-in-all it's doable. Anything above 5/10 i think you are going to have problems having both the tank and dps.

I'm a relatively respectable citizen. Multiple felon perhaps, but certainly not dangerous.

rep or use assistance modules on the Tier 3 with your tengu and then they will focus on the tengu

Some people have switched to spider tanking T3s. Seems like the only way to do it now unless you use logistics.

Spider tanked T3s for 5/10 and 6/10 plexing in a decent time frame... never thought I'd see the day but it looks like this is becoming the best option.

I'm all for a challenge but without some reliable threat mechanics these changes make me want to smash my head against the keyboard.

Same here , i just got me a 2nd tengu before the patch went out. .Should do the trick , even with the 'WHEEEEEEEEEELP MY MISSILES ARE NERFED CALDARI IS CRAP' .

I can still solo anything up to an 8/10 and get 600dps...just gotta find the right ship and have the right skills :)

Ya I can solo 5/10 and 6/10 in a legion or loki but benching the 950 dps @ 50 km oracle makes me a sad panda.

I'm gonna try out the remote reps on the tengu and see if that keeps aggro off the oracle.

I not sure not i think some 6/10 overseers tank more then 600dps.

I'm a relatively respectable citizen. Multiple felon perhaps, but certainly not dangerous.
