the thing about scammers is that they're always thinking 2 steps ahead of the naive players.

These guys are already thinking 2 steps ahead of you guys (hisec bears). All the subtleties and nuances of a scam are there; the public bickering b/w opposing alliances, a few members voicing discontent, etc....

No pressure for you to join. I'm proposing flying cheap and effective and going for pvp, there's no investment requested, no project, no "for the low price of xxx isk", just interested in getting a bunch of people who are tired being griefed into the game and excited about it, and potentially getting some revenge.

Hey Xystance, I hear you're seasoned... well seasoned? Mmmm, I'd like a bite of that.

If you want to get rid of the goons make it boring for them. A fleet composed of properly capable highsec pilots might make for some good pew-pew, but you're not going do get rid of the goons this way.

if all you can do is try to bore someone to death you might want to re-evaluate your playing style in eve.

Clearly you've been trying to bore them to death and it hasn't been working so far, has it? That's because they're doing it for a reason, they have a plan. The only way to make them stop with the plan is to make it impractical for them to continue. This isn't some random griefing, this is systematic and efficient and is a means to an end as well as being fun as hell. You can't rely on them getting bored of it, so fight back. Surpass us, boot us back to null sec, and we'll be celebrating the whole way there.

Dose not matter if they have a plan or not. Depending on how far this goes, and seeing that a few from your corp are not for this, this is the first strike against your alliance staying together, or at the very least your corp, as not everyone is in agreement with this, and saying so.

So I going to see how far this goes.

Whoever believes this has to realize that ...
... as he's talking about it in public ...
... it's bullshit.

Anyhow, as i'm the financial coordinator of this new effort,
please send 100 Million ISK to me so i can approve of your seriousness.

Thanks.

I'm up for giving it a try. Do I hate the Goons? Nope. Do I think I'm going to get the skills to take on 5 Goons solo? Nope. Is it because I have nothing (well, next to nothing) to lose if it turns out to be some kind of Goonandfriends plot? Yup. Every ship, module, and implant I own is cheap and easily relpaced, and this presents a good opportunity for a chance at some pew-pew. Count me in. But just to let you know, I don't get a whole lot of in-game time (other than to update my training queue) due to current real-life obligations.
