I did not expect that Retribution became huge buff for piracy profession, but suddenly it does.

No more GCC made fights on gates a lot easier now. We kill target taking sentry aggro, warp off grid and come back 30 seconds later and... gate guns dont shoot. \o/

CCP rarely do anything good for pirates, but when they do its fu*king WIN.

I've been saying all along that Retribution seems to have been meant to buff piracy and PvP in general, but nobody listens to me. Some people are so convinced that CCP is just catering to highsec carebears that they never actually look at the details of a patch and think about what they mean for the rest of us.

Aye, great patch. I love it so far : )

Gatecamping isn't piracy and didn't need buffs.

While I am no big fan of gatecamping (just too boring and requires few challenges), anytime you rob someone of their stuff with the use of guns, its piracy. Perhaps not very sportsmanlike, but it still counts.

I'm really liking the Retribution changes, too...except for the fact that you take the full sec hit regardless if you kill the target or not. Meh, I'll just jump clone to null a couple hours a week and rat back my sec status.
