Welp, the final thing that a high sec status was good for (no Bounties) is popped like a balloon.

A low enough sec status can keep one out of certain areas and all that. But now, a high sec status delivers absolutely nothing. No benefit at all.

Beyond Faction grinding for local POS anchoring, there really is not any need anymore to run beyond level 3 missions, as the rewards mean nothing with that high status. Although I am 9.5 to Ammatar Mandate, I can anchor in High Sec Khanid...and I've never even run a mission for any corp there or Faction. I don't need to (which is absurd in and of itself).

Why bother doing these missions if there is no benefit. High sec status applies nowhere but High Sec.

Not much to do here ingame anymore except make things, so it's definitely time to leave for more exciting horizons.

What should high sec status be good for?

Also, don't let us keep you from your more exciting horizons.

Why do I get the feeling they're going to log on to quite a headache in bounties.

Here lies Krixtal Icefluxor

Pubbie King, no more
Many bad posts, marked for death
Unwanted by all

The 'do-nothing' member of the GoonSwarm Economic Warfare Cabal

The edge is REALLY hard to see at times but it DOES exist and in this case we were looking at a situation where a new feature created for all of our customers was being virtually curbstomped by five of them

Balance to what? How has this so called balance shifted from -4.9 Sec requried not to get the bountires that make grinding Sec useless?

It was always -1 to place a bounty, not -5. At -5 you could just be freely attacked in Empire space or in LowSec without the aggressor losing sec status or incurring a Global Criminal Countdown (GCC) flag.

Says the guy mining in High Sec. With the same number of alts you have, trained for a Naga with T2 Blasters, you can rake in considerably more ISK in nullsec running anoms than you ever will mining. This requires a certain exposure of risk that requires the pilot to have some semblance of a spine and/or back bone, with you clearly don't possess.

Going from -5 to 0.0 can be done in about 2 hours with access to the right space.

It's amazing. This guy really represents everything that is wrong with a certain segment of the playerbase. Unbelievable. These threads belong into one sticky and prominently displayed in the Newbie forums. So everyone can see how the enemy looks like.

Comedy gold. How can a person be constantly wrong about EVERYTHING? Shouldn't even the most stoneheaded AFK-advocating carebear miner hit on something decent just by chance from time to time? Most do, however this one must be the king of them all.

He thanks us for shaming him in public? Blasphemy.

Maybe we should put more bounties on him, that may make him change his tune!

I read the Neg 5 thing off the Wiki... Wait I went there and saw where I got it wrong. I never used them anyway, terrible system.

Same thing still stands if bounties are all that is important to the OP and you could put them on at -1 then the old system just made being above -1 irrelevant in his opinion.
