Is it perhaps possible to remove/update the WH kill stats link on the first page of this thread?

My compliments and thanks to Gnaw LF & stewwhich for making them in the first place. I think a lot of people used them (including me). Last couple of months/weeks I have not however, because members per entity are not up-to-date and perhaps not everybody realizes this (just check Elysian Empire, No Holes Barred, etc)...

Thanks for the quick response Chitsa, but... not exactly what I meant (sorry, I was not clear).

This site links to stats with old corp-numbers. Elysian Empire is still shown to have 475 pilots; I am pretty sure they don't have that many no more (currently ~32). Or your own alliance shows 256 pilots on the site, while your alliance is closer to 370 members. This means all the "ISK per members", "activity" etc is incorrect... ;)

Hey guys. Yeah, I am aware of the problem. The big issue with the current implementation of the stats on whkills.info is that I was dumb when I first made it. Basically I chose the fast and easy route to get the stats working as fast as possible without actually thinking about such "trivial" things as corporations forming alliances, alliances disbanding and so on. As a result what we have now is a stats page driven by a single Database table that defines the alliances whose stats need to be collected and displayed. However when that alliance dies and it comes time to remove it, it gets nuked from the entire history of stats collection, as if it never existed, even though the said alliance could have been active and doing very well in June for example.

That is why the member count is so off, because it applies to the corporation for the entirety of its existence. If I update the values today (and I will) they will be altered for all the months, so it will look like Transmission Lost had a ton of people in May of 2012 even though they did not. I will look into all these issues and get them resolved as time permits.

Understood. Thanks Gnaw LF for answering.

I understand its not an easy fix and that it might take some time. Perhaps there is a way of just making a note above or below the table that the corporation sizes are not current? Would buy you some time. Anyways, I appreciate the work you guys put into this!

Spoke with Tune personally, issue resolved. Bite Me inc and Bitten. have been added to the stats page to temporarily reflect the stats of both until I can revamp the system to better handle the creation / mergers / disbandment of alliances.

Hi! Something is definitely wrong with Exiled Ones stats. Actually we have 53 lost / 226 kills and here we have only 34 kills. What we can do for repair those statistic here?

When I went to look at your kb, it freaked me out for a second, but then I realized everything was green and yours has your kills and losses flipped from where ours shows ours...freaked me out, thought you had like 50 kills and 200 losses...lol

To get that thing fixed we just have to yell GNAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAW really loud...He'll eventually show up.

Your stats were out of date due to me being under the impression that you were using eve-kill as your official KB (any group that uses eve kill will have outdated stats as those only get updated 2-3 times a week). However, since you provided your private KB link I was able to fetch and get your Kill Report up to date. I encourage everyone else to keep an eye on this sort of stuff, if you have a private KB for your group, send me the link. It will keep you stats up to date and will save me a bunch of time and effort, if you are set on eve-kill being your main KB provider then please consider creating a corp API key for whkills.info

Actually, our alliance switched over to eve-kill specifically because whkills.info was pulling primarily from it. >_>
