Pre-patch i had read comments about the new NPC AI and flying drone ships, and i decided it would be a good time to start training for marauder and large t2 gun.

Now i'm stuck in sansha space with the option between drones and guns...

I've learned two things from this patch:
1) No matter what you do, CCP always win in the end.
2) Eve is never going to be easy.

If you do rly high dps with like a Paladin you can still ignore the TDs ,one guy in our corp does Forsaken Hubs just like he did before the Patch but he has like ~1,1k dps in his pulse Pala.

With every other turret-based ship you are pretty ******^^

I am not having all of these problems with drones that everyone else is. Using EWAR helps immensely.

I give it a month before things subside.

My primarily eve profession is exploration, which involve lots of small groups spawning so i'm use to keeping an eye on the drones. The main reason i was concerned about drones being an issue, it's you often need to tank vary large groups of rats while you kill the overseer/faction spawn. If you constantly have to pull one or more drones, it's going to get a lot harder do to reduced dps.

I actually did more DPS with my drones. I just made sure that whatever I was hitting was painted. If I couldn't get to the frigs, I ignored them until they were right on top of me. Then I just targeted them, painted 1, released the lights, and mopped up.

Heavies were effective up to 45km (which is as far as I dared) and they weren't targeted so long as the target they were hitting was painted.

There were instances pre-patch where I would attack specific groups of a pocket to get them out of the way and the other groups would engage my drones. This wasn't the case as the entire pocket attacked.

If my results hold out, then Retribution for me has turned out okay.

Guess it's worth it giving the target painter a try, thanks for the tip

I have a thread about the Tracking Disruptor problems here: https://forums.eveonline.com/default.aspx?g=posts&t=178599&find=unread

Any detailed information on your issues would be a welcome addition, ships used, turrets, ammo etc.
I have been doing my best to bring the issue to CCP's attention in case this isn't how they wanted them to perform, as of yet I have had no official information about it.

It's my hope that the changes are not what they intended and are far too strong (much like the ECM changes to NPCs a while ago) as it does seem to be crippling almost every turret based ship.
