client not updating for latest patch..

I just get told this

the server you are connecting to could not be reached.

please recheck your internet settings and restart the EVE: online launcher

thing is I can see there is 19,514 players online so I am connected.

Same here, also can't download the patch directly (http://content.eveonline.com/457724/evepremiumpatch457011-457724_m.exe)

Me too, got yesterday's (the big one) but it won't download this latest updat
On the start page I get Status Incompatible (protocal)

The download page starts, and I get the following error after about 15 seconds:


There was an unexpected error while retrieving update status:

Unable to download file /457724/evepremiumpatch457724.exe from the server.
Error: [Errno socket error] [Errno 10054] An existing connection was forcibly closed by the remote host: 'recv operation failed'

getting the same message, though on startup it takes a long time to show the status of the server and to start the patch process.

once on process 2 of 4 it replies with this error msg :

Launcher Error Message wrote:

The server you are connecting to could not be reached.

Please check your internet settings and restart the Eve: Online Launcher.

tried running the repair tool which said a newer version was available and asked if i would like to update, so said yes... it hung for a while and wrote an error log in a temp folder:

when i went to the location the folder the error log should be was completely empty.

so i tried running the repair tool without updating it and it failed saying:

Repair.exe version: 3.38 wrote:

An error occured during the repair


it also says in the repair window that a "urlopen error [errno 10060]" occured

hope this helps u guys to sort it out fast, i wanna get back and shoot people in the faaaaace! =)

I just shut the updater/laucher down and reloaded it. It's slow as hell though so we can assume it's being hit massively by people

ive done this countless times now.. as well as trying to run the repair tool countless times too...and i know its got nothing at all to do with my internet connection.

still no luck - and i very rarely get issues at all with starting and patching the eve client

edit: omg repair tool updater seems to be working!
