I ALMOST CREAMED MY SHORTS!!!!!!!!

that's actually quite an interesting design for a 12-gauge.

It's just a bullpup Blink

still interesting. I wonder if with some modding you can expand the storage barrels...

Pardon my intrusion into the musings.

As a resident of the benighted UK I don't have access to firearms as successive governments have taken the line that the only people they want to have guns are criminals. For some reason this is supposed to be safer for all of us, but I can't quite get my head around how.

I had a look at the linky and I must say as someone with very limited experience of firearms (I shot an SLR once with the Air Training Corp and went to a gun club in Manchester with a mate's uncle a few times before they took everyone's pistols away) I was quite impressed by what I saw.

Wouldn't bullpup be the ideal configuration for a shot gun for home defence anyway? Less unwieldy than traditionally configured shotguns and more usable at close range I'd have thought. It's not like you'd have loads of time to aim in a home defence situation, and I know I'd think twice about ass-hattery if someone was pointing that thing at me.

Why would you needt to extend the mags? Here in the UK shotgun licenses are more easily available than firearm licenses (differrent class) but you're still limited to a maximum of 3 shells total. If whatever you're shooting at requires more than 12 shells to deal with, then you're probably screwed anyway amirite?

Anyway, the tl;dr version is that I'd love to have one of those around the house and fail to see why it wouldn't be, more or less, perfect for home defense. What have I missed here?

Bullpups are great urban weapons, their only real drawback is the bayonet. You get more force with a traditional rifle than a bullpup.

Having used SA80s im not a huge fan but the TAVOR TAR21 is a very good all rounder.

Im just not sure how i like a bullpup shotgun. Maybe way too much kick on it. So you might break your collarbone if not fired right.

I think it is more of a liability issue. If you extend the tube magazine forward, and you go too far forward, when you shoot the ammo loaded with shot (instead of slug), the shot spreads out and might hit this long tube magazine, worst case scenario is that it might detonate the ammo in the magazine. I think that is why all the tube magazines that I have seen so far end where the barrel ends.

hmm... maybe sideways. or, like a mad scientist, you develop a mag extender that also extends the barrelLol
