Drone lols?

So today i was watching my alliance chat about how drones are getting eaten and i rthought ill go test myself.

OMFG CCP you absolute thoughtless idiots.

What were you thinking when testing this new AI?

"mmm yes thats working as intended" lol? so my medicore 5.5 million SP in drones is now an utter waste. Thankyou for wasting my time skilling them up.

I have no idea why you've done this? The dominix and ishtar are ******* DRONE BOATS there main offense is DRONES so not only have you shafted everyone who loves drones youve also put the Dominix and Ishtar to retirement?

What use are those 2 ships now?

There will be no reply from any CCP representitive because they know the fail is strong on this one and too scared to even come on here to give a decent response.

You wanna stop the plex farmers and afk guys using drones? Yeah Id like a srtop put to that too but I have somehting more for you.

Why oh WHY dont you all go into the "lulz war room" where you think up these "bright" ideas and have a think on how to stop bots in Jita. Those guys are there daily, blatantly bots.....yet you do nothing.

Can I have my 5.5 mil SP back for training something youve just made unuseable?

What is wrong with it? Now drones are working as intended. Think of them like ammo, and not like your precious babies. In fact, you should think of all ships like that in the game, ammo to hit your enemy with. This is probably only an issue with high sec care bears I am thinking.

I haven't had too much trouble using light drones in anomalies, they get targeted but not fast enough to be wiped.
I would imagine using heavies is a problem now as there is little chance they will make it back before going boom, sentries should still be easy enough if you pull them in (or use the highs for RR modules)

I had heard they were making the NPCs target drones far less than sleepers do, maybe they just need to tweak it a tiny bit more?

Maybe you should try using them in PVP, pretty sure those ships still work fine against other players.

Only in PVE, and only in your opinion.


There is more to eve than PVE, and try 'augmented' drones, they have twice the hit points :)

I do admit that maybe the new AI could be tweaked a little, as it is the Sleeper AI, and in sleeper sites I believe not many drones are used so this is just an issue that hasn't really cropped up before.

Just be patient, I am sure this will get some love but it is most certainly not a game breaking feature or the end of the world. For now: adapt ?

My drones are my precious babies. I've lost ships trying to gather up my little drone friends before warping out of a situation. You non-drone ignoramuses just don't get it. A drone is man's best friend.

As you are clearly an eve addict you will spend additional money for an Alt to be able to still do lvl 4 missions.

Hah. Yes it may be sacrilege to think of those poor defenceless drones as ammo, but if you want to be a proper eve tycoon, then drones must be sacrificed for the greater good.

CCP went beyond fail on this one ..... way way beyond fail and thats a fact.


ignore the other trolls it will be their turn to come onto the forum and vent their dismay when CCP nerfs beyond belief a game mechanic that destroys their way of fun in eve.

some people seem to think most drone users are afk bots just shows them for the tard muskets they really are.

you should petition the uselessness of your ships and point out your wasted time on training now defunct skills and demand answers ... thats what i have done.

either they change their ways or you talk with your wallet.... wallet option is preferred cos if 100 or so peeps do that to start with imagine the hole in their annual budgets, it will hurt and they (ccp) will feel it.

I just did a forsaken hub in MY GILA and didn't lose a single sentry. And then I got an escalation to a fleet staging point.

I approve of the new changes.
