EVE Alliance Tournament Discussion

TL guys wanted to make a team and win cause we like winning, so we approached some people we know and asked if they wanted to join up with us. Plenty said yes (Suleiman Shouaa, Tawa Suyo, as well as Rengas and a few VoC guys).

Rengas said a VoC roll call didn't turn up enough people for a team so we'd all work under one banner. About 2 days before team registration Rengas was like "oh btw a bunch of people showed up so we are just gonna make our own team".

And so VoC and TL split ways. We trounced them and a couple other teams with ease before we hit Ronin. We had a very good setup against Ronin and was really awesome and should have trounced them with ease as well. What we didn't know is that Kwark is bad and didn't realize training Amarr Strategic Cruiser to 1 on SiSi has no effect on his TQ clone. 30 minutes before the match he figures this out and says "I've ****** us, gents" and we switch to a comp none of us has practiced at all. 5 minutes before the match he decides to switch back to the Malice comp but with a Damnation instead. We should have been fine but then he forgot to turn on links and ****** the other holes.

Another member of our team insisted he was on the team but never showed up to practice. Or to matches. But he was totally on the team (**** that guy).

Then we went up against Hydra and there was no possible way they'd ever realize we used EAFs+Kiting every match and then hard counter us...that's just inconceivable.

Wow the bitter level in this post is so high, but I can vouch that this story is accurate.
