I know that some players of a similar mind to the thief will be smiling and adding comments like ' he stole my sandwich'.

The truth of the matter is that for a small corp the theft can be devastating.

As the CEO I could view the stolen items his hanger, the thief was still showing as a member of the corp and there was nothing that could be done to recover the items.

It is about time that EVE redressed the balance and gave CEO's some tools to help with this.

Your use of the word "devastating" helped to convey the magnitude of this betrayal.

First of all, I would like to thank you for taking time to inform us of the true nature of the player. I can say that almost without a doubt, your willingness to share your story will result in saving someone else from a similar fate. If more people would do this, losses like yours would be greatly reduced in frequency.

Myself and other respected members of the Crime Punish community would like to pitch in and help you recoup your losses. Many times in the past we have pulled together as a family to help restore losses caused by; bandits, burglars, cheats, criminals, crooks, defalcators, embezzlers, heisters, highway robber, hijackers, holdup artist, kleptomaniacs, larceners, muggers, pickpockets, pilferers, pirates, prowlers, punks, purloiners, shoplifters, stealers, and swindlers.

When someone turns their back on someone like this, it hurts us all.A betrayal of this magnitude would break my pony heart had it happened to me. You showed real strength and integrity by coming here. Please post here what materials you need delivered and to what system so we can pitch in as a team and get you out of the jam.

Many times we have helped victims of similar crimes with donations of supplies, POS mods ships and outright Isk.In fact quite a few of the people we helped ended up giving Isk back as we had more than compensated their losses. Would it bo ok If I added you to my contact list?

You wouldn't give the keys to your car to a random stranger. Why entrust corp assets to someone you aren't sure you can trust?

You got conned. It's part of learning what not to do in Eve.

Indeed, in eve you shouldnt put too much trust in people as scams/cons/theiving is all part of the game

To be honest I don't give a damn about stuff, what really hurts is the betrayal. At this time I am thinking of leaving eve all together.

rachann, hold fast, for without the lows how are the highs of any value? Is there any worth in the trust that is given without knowing the loss caused through betrayal. Remember your goals, enjoy the struggle to attain them, and the completion will be oh so sweet.

As Darius III said let the community know the magnitude of your loss, beneficiaries are quiet but will undoubtedly help you recover.

Just wanted to let you know that i saw your post about Haydies Elarik and that i think your and idiot for giving roles to ppl that you dont know well enough to trust with all of your corp assets... the fact that you got ripped off by such a noob char is proof of your incompetance. i hope you have learned from this seemingly expensive mistake... but when it comes down to it, if a couple billion wrecks you what kind of corp are you running? further more i am most proud of him for pulling it off even though i had no personall gain in it myself. my only advise to you would be not to give roles and keep on your toes... this is EVE not some fluffy cinderella fantasy mmo.... if you are counting on the kindness of others here your ganna get eaten alive... to quote a very famous individual... "Eat a **** Noob"
