New ships, how do they become available?

When the new destroyers are introduced next month, how do they become available? Does CCP seed certain stations? Or do the blueprints require research and they become slowly introduced by players over time?

How has it worked in the past?

CCP will seed the blueprints on the market the same way that current Destroyer blueprints are available. Players will start building using unresearched blueprints as soon as the servers come up after downtime. Players will also start researching blueprints. As the quality of the blueprint research improves and the volume of production increases the price of the ships will drop. I expect that within a few weeks the new destoyers will be selling with a similar availablity as the other T1 ships.

Also the Venture's BPOs are gonna be seeded out in null sec ORE space. Good luck getting one :D

These won't be too hard to get either. Within a day there will be plenty of them available in any trade hub. They won't be as cheap as buy them directly from the NPC sell orders in ORE space, but I doubt the mark up will be too extreme. It won't take long for the price to drop low enough that it wouldn't be worth the travel time even without the risks of null sec.

IIRC the Industry tutorial currently gives you a ship and a BPC for your race's mining frigate. I remember seeing someplace that this will change to the Venture.

That's still only 1 run though, and unless you wanna fail the mission you need to give it to them. Perhaps recycle a bunch of alts you let fail the mission? xD

Nope - it's five and you can complete the mission by just giving your agent back the one he's already provided.

Or recycle fail alts to get 6 at a time

Insert something witty and clever here

Thats a bankable offence.

All automated intel should be removed from the game including Instant local/jumps/kills/cynos for all systems/regions.Eve should report nothing like this to the client/3rd party software.Intel should not be force fed to players. Player skill and iniative should be the sources of intel.

Recycling alts to avoid the consequenses of negative security status is an exploit.

Recycling alts to farm the starter missions is not. If you really want to run those missions over and over again, I doubt that CCP will object. However, there are far mor entertaining and profitable ways to play ths game.

You do know that you can run multiple career agents.

3 in each Faction
4 factions

12 Industry agents.

Each giving you a 5 run BPC
You use one.

Still leaves 59 ships unused.

Don't forget that the Business and Exploration agents also currently give mining frigates, so there could potentially be two more available in each career tutorial set.

Looks like we were all counting chickens on this. The industry career agents are still giving BPCs for the old racial mining frigates (now transformed into support frigates).

If that is really the case, can you please repost in the Retribution Issues thread? That gets read by CCP thoroughly, so it's the fasted way to make sure an issue gets the attention it deserves.
Thanks in advance.
