I thought... wtf? I love new gun sounds and other details but, come on... with every enemy killed i hear this annoying jetcan sound. Please, turn it off or change it to older/less annoying. Begging you guys.

You should be able to change the volume of the cap alarm, like you can change the volume of shield and armour alarms?

I don't know which to list, I kinda dislike them all in more or less profound ways.

I really miss the good ole BOOOM when you entered warp speed. The new one sounds like doing a wet poo.

if you like sounds in game then cool, but me, i don't, because in space, there is no sound.

the one sound that used to do my head in was the amarr monks chanting on station. Evil but that's an old sound, maybe that doesn't count lol. disabled sounds a long time ago.

jetcans make sound ???


i dunno what the noise is, but theres an annoying constant "kzrt" at gates, stations etc etc

npc ship explosions sound crap
guns sound 'ok' so far
missile explosions still sound crap (close up, the distant ones are ok)
and the new warp noise is for ****

Bro, those aren't volume controls. Those are the thresholds when your alarms activate.

Every time an NPC or indeed any ship which creates a wreck explodes, you hear the jetcan sound.

It's that weird hollow "whoosh" noise which sounds like Darth Vader exhaling. You may also notice that it doesn't fade at distance, which makes it actually sound as though these ARE the ship explosion sounds. If you position the camera close to a dying ship, you'll actually notice a different sound is being made, barely audible above that ridiculous jetcan nonsense.

That's why so many people are complaining about the ship explosion sound effects, because they're actually hearing the jetcan effect.

really? It makes a WHOOSH Sound for you?

To me - and all of my corpmates it does a sound that is best described as "imagine a huge empty hall and then Slam a giant steel door" - BOOOOMM. And it sucks big time - because if you salvage with a noctis and have like 4 salvegers running and they all done it goes BOOOM BOOOM BOOOOOM BOOOOM.

Besides that , all those timer - buzzing is really annoying.
