Is it just me or does it seem like stationh rental fees have increased by large amounts?

For almost a year was paying around 16-18 mil now the bill is 52mil a mo?

I looked at other station rental bills and the same thing for all of them...

Fees go up when there are no free slots in a station. (for laughs, look at the cost for an office in Jita 4-4)

You'll find some stations (generally those without decent agents or manufacturing facilities) are a lot cheaper. I've had rental bills below a million.

Makes you wonder if the concept of a lease was lost when the wormhole closed Lol

Iv seen station rental fee's as low as 54K isk

How it works:

If no one wants to rent offices at said station, and 10 slots are open, then the price of the rental goes down every month.
If all 10 slots are filled as said station every month the price to rent office and said station goes up every month.

Fees go up and down based on how popular or in demand a station is. As more station offices are taken the more the value of these offices costs increases. Also works the opposite, as people leave offices the price will decrease.

If you want cheaper offices find stations in systems no one frequents . My alt corp has 3 stations and each one costs only 10,000isk / month because they are so out of the way or there is little interest in the area.

The thing that got me recently was how quickly it spiked up.

615k
1.98 M
5.42 M
14.84 M

There was empty offices in October and November. So it did strike me as odd considering it had been running about 500-700k for a long time.

Our corp had an office in Hogimo for a while. It was in the DCM station. It was only 10k isk/month

Currently renting a 10K ISK office as well. That's as low as it gets.

It heavily depends on the system too, I hold offices at several npc 0.0 stations and they can be upwards of 150 mil isk a mo. But other places in 0.0 are only 10k isk a month, especially if they are not popular cyno spots or staging areas. Most of the time office rent goes up because a bunch of corps all decided to have an office in the same station, or in the case I am experiencing an alliance filled with single man corps is filling up a station to drive up prices. The closer you are to trade routes or popular mission running systems, the more expensive it gets too.

Office fees are calculated daily at downtime; the daily change is based on the number of free offices at downtime. I have seen several stations within 8 jumps of Jita at the base 10,000isk rental. But if you want a station that offers full services you have to pay for it. I have several offices 6-8 jumps from Jita my corp rents them for less than 1 mil/month each, 1 is only 140,000isk. Some have agents I use, some have 50% refineries, Some have medical facilities. It all depends what services you are willing to give up for a cheaper rental fee.

It is not hard to find a station with a 50% refinery with cheap office rental, but if you want the refinery and manufacturing slots, the price goes way up. Likewise any station with manufacturing or science slots the rental is high. If you do most of your indy work out of a POS then you don't need a station with many services. All I really need is a 50% refinery and a corp hanger to hold my BPO's.
