Is it even possible ?

Sorry if this has already been covered before, but my Google foo came up empty, so I figured I'd share my feature request in case it hasn't.

Is there a reason that Ammo is not part of the XML export?

Putting my 2 cents in on how I would implement this using the fit below as an example. If it is already available in EFT and I missed it, consider this constructive feedback on how to improve it, and also to please make it more obvious on how to export with Ammo.

For each module that is fit with a selected charge, use the item information on the module and the charge to determine how many charges the module can fit.

e.g. the Light Electron Blaster I has a capacity of 0.5, while the Antimatter Charge S has a volume of 0.0025, this calculates out that the Light Electron Blaster I can be loaded with 200 Antimatter Charge S. Using the fit below, you could then calculate that I would need 600 Antimatter Charge S in order to load the 3 Light electron Blaster I that I have fit.

My first request would then be to include 600 Antimatter Charge S as cargo when exporting to XML so that when I import to EVE, and I click "Fit" the Ammo is on my ship and ready to undock without the need to remember to add ammo to my modules.

The line of XML this would require would be:

hardware qty="600" slot="cargo" type="Antimatter Charge S"
(had to remove the brackets to work on the forum...)

This brings me to the second request. Perhaps you could further add to my first request by also allowing for "spare" or "reload" ammo to be loaded into the cargo hold. My idea would be to make this a preference, and that someone could set the number of reloads they would like to carry. You could then reference this to the cargo hold of the ship. If the requested number of reloads is greater than what the ship can hold in the cargo hold, then fill the cargo hold with that ammo. Or maybe even have the option to "fill the cargo hold."

e.g. If I say I want 5 reloads, then the cargo hold would be filled with 3,000 additional Antimatter Charge S (so the export would actually be 3,600 Antimatter Charge S total). EFT would allow this because it can calculate that 3,000 Antimatter Charge S equates to 7.5m3, which is less than its 150m3 cargo hold. Additionally, if they wanted to fill the cargo hold, EFT could quickly calculate that the 150m3 cargo hold of a Merlin could be filled with 60,000 Antimatter Charge S (which is 100 reloads if anyone is keeping track).

Hope I made my request clear enough. I feel it would benefit the community greatly. I can't tell you the number of times I have undocked and either forgot to put ANY ammo in my ship, or only fit my guns with ammo and forgot to bring spare ammo to reload with. N00b mistakes I admit, but having that available to just click "Fit" would make everyone's lives easier.
