@CCP art team: two design issues of the new Gallente destroyer on current Duality build

While I think the new Gallente destroyer looks really cool (especially the hangars on both sides) and fits nice into the Gallente design scheme in general, I think there are two aspects which don't really fit:

(1) There is some kind of 'hand railing' on top of the middle front section. Imho this doesn't fit to a hightech space ship. Looks more like an old style submarine. Afaik no other Gallente ship does have such a thing. Which breaks the conformity.

(2) Both sides of the middle front section are looking like corrugated iron sheet. This doesn't fit to Gallente at all! It doesn't look very hightech/sci-fi...it reminds more of old aircrafts. Again, no other Gallente ship I'm aware of uses this design detail, the new destroyer breaks the design conformity here as well.

@CCP art team: why?? These are details only, but they ruin the otherwise very cool look a bit Sad

I think its pretty clear that the gallente destroyer's inspiration is the B17.

Only real issue with the models is Caldari model made for 8 highslot hardpoints. Been balanced for 7 actual highslots.

And the Gallente is defiantly a British Halifax B MkII. with the double bubble nose and flat side hull mixed with some submarine parts.

Nothing wrong with inspiration from historic vessels or technics. I only think these two design details don't match with the rest of the Gallente fleet. Their ships should be the most advanced, hightech vessels in EVE, right? Even before Caldari. I always enjoyed the organic-hightech look of Gallente. Corrugated iron sheet just disturbs this look - at least for me.

Please CCP! Redesign the rest of their ships like this!!!

Why is it that people think this game is for everyone?A better question would be "Why do some people think this game is only for them?"
