The Dragoon looks too plain...actually...it looks like that "toy" my ex girlfriend had that always made me wonder why on earth she would like such a thing. Then I discovered that she was really into pain...lots and lots of pain. Yeah...that relationship ended well...

The Dragoon fits Amarr, it didn't have to be fancy.

Now if only the Rupture/Tempest would get a nice redo..

I'm in total agreement with the OP, the Algos is a very fetching ship, one I shall be happily be buzzing around in myself at some point tomorrow Cool

Moa is by far one of the worst looking hulls in the game. I wish they would redesign the blackbird design as well.

I also think the Algos looks very cool. Except the front middle section - it disturbs the overall cool look imho Cry

Corrugated iron sheet and hand railing, on a space ship? Especially on a Gallente ship which should look curvy, sleek and hightech. I know it's inspired by historic aircrafts and/or submarines...but WHY? The new Megathron doesn't has such design elements. It just looks badass, and pure Gallente.

Well its a darned good thing we still have Minnie ships to look at then. They aren't going away and they will always be ugly by comparison to all of the other ships in EVE.

nah minmatar are an acquired taste, despite some of them just being plain ugly. (old stabber was eugh, bellicose is mehhhhhhhhhhhh, cyclone looks like a garbage scrawler along with the thrasher, but some people like that look)

The dragoon model needs a lot more edge, more bite, more pointy / meany things. It's called the Dragoon for heaven's sake!

I mean, the thing can drain your capacitor dry the moment you get too close and can throw at you a swarm of killer drones. When you look at it, you should have the impression that something bad is gonna happen. Now instead, it only looks like a very boring transport ship... Among all the amarr ships, it's probably the most innocent, unsexy and dull looking one.

Love the Algos but I'd love the hangers to be forward facing. Not entire sure why just feels a bit backwards to me!

Not sure what you mean by that. You might be thinking of lancers. Dragoons were generally equipped with horse carbines and sabres; nothing of a particularly pointy description.

As for remodeling, so long as they keep the spirit and general look/layout of the ship the same I wouldnt mind them remodeling some of the ships. Dont want any ship to look completely different after a remodel. How the Tempest and Stabber were done is a great example. Kept the look/feel of the ship but made it more badass.

And that's what I mean... In real life, if a dragoon was riding towards you, you knew you had some big problems. In Eve, if a dragoon is flying toward you, well you wouldn't feel much at all. It needs more bite.

And last time I checked, a saber has a pointy end.
