dueling 1v1 suggestion

dueling and 1v1's

before we used to swap cans but now that makes you globally flagged.

an understandable change.

however.....could we have a 'right click ship, offer duel' option?

Just meet the person you want to duel outside of Ironforge, it's easier.

i want to test my t1 frig fitting in the heat of combat.

axel Greye for example, was someone in dodixie who used to honor 1v1's all the time.
he has the kill-board to prove it.

it made me a better pilot.

Having some sort of dual 1v1 system open's up the game to more play styles, and potentially player run 1v1 tournaments,

Having such a button would not impact the meta-game of eve adversely.

people used to swap cans as a way around the lack of this button all the time. some dishonored 1v1's yes, but if you found a reliable partner it wasn't a problem.

i actually forgot that they didn't put this in the new system. There was talk of a open agression flag between two players, looks like high sec duels will be a bit funny now.

You can still do them by fleeting up, warping to a safe and can flipping.

OOORRR you can head to amamake for a good ol 1v1 xD

or you can head to sisi and test out your fits there (for cheap)

currently you can spool out the time of your limited engagement past the suspect flags timer and have a 1v1 with no intervention. Player A drops can, player B loots, player B docks, player B undocks before timer runs out but less than 5 mins before it ends, player A agresses player B creating limited engagement, player b docks again, player b undocks when suspect flag ends and 1v1 can occur.

Mr random can interfere while still a suspect creating the 1v1 but you can dock freely.

Bit complex tho.
