I see various comments in the forums regarding the possibility of allowing for logos on ships, particularly in light of their appearance in the Retribution video trailer. It seems that the original idea floated was to allow for their purchase in the NeX store for Aurum. This would solve the issue of giving AUR some purpose and avoiding microtransactions that lend themselves to pay to play. It likely simultaneously satisfies a consumer desire and begins to clean up the Aurum embarassment for CCP.

Am I missing something? Has there been any official response? Could this be one of our Christmas presents?

Corp logos have been teased since I think fanfest 2011. Its a project after all ships have been v3ed. we still have capitals to go.

I disclaim any insider information, but a little bird told me that it is ready for roll-out in the skunkworks and had been put on hold due to concerns around Dust514 market linkages with ISK/AUR and products. However, given that it is not tangible, tradeable or fungible between the platforms AND it offers no benefit in play, CCP is bowing to the outcry.

Personally, I'd have no issues if they just removed the NeX store, I'd certainly rather not see things be added to it thanks.

I wonder if they'll have the Cap's updated by Spring.. that would be one hell of a spring gift to have corp logos + caps.

Then all we need is corp colors <.<
