Petition: CCP, bring back Snowball Launchers!

Snowballs were the best gift because they were pointless in the right way.

They were fun, they had no real effect on the game and after a few days the snowballs melted.

Rather than all the other garb, like special ships, bps, implants etc that linger.

More pointless stuff for gifts \o/

I enjoyed last year with the implants and faction ammo. I used them and lost them before March so good times had by all.

As someone who has sadly regarded the melted blobs of snowballs in the hangars of each of her six mains for several years now, I too request that CCP bring back snowballs to New Eden!

I remember undocking from the Agal station and aligning to Heorah stargate in my Iteron, and an intercepter locked me up, and started firing at me.

I was like, "Err, what? He's firing at me?! Oh crap, ALIGN YOU MOTHER$%^&ER!!!" and then realised it was just snowballs.

My friends and I had a great snowball fight a day or so later.
It was so much fun.

I vote for bringing back snowballs and launchers.

Okay so I was there but never did it but now with the new caldari and minmitar dessies u can fit loads of launchers more civilian launchers that way no ammo just pure fun and to stop us using it after Christmas maybe make it be like 'disfunctional snowball/icicle launcher' after event period.

... I don't think it would take much at all for them to introduce snowballs as a gift. As you said they've been introduced once. So its not like they need to be redesigned, coded, adjusted or anything. its just "here they are again, enjoy"

i think ccp has listened, check market - special edition assets - special edition festival asset:

various fireworks CXIV
festival launcher
melted snowballs from CVII and CX
snowball CXIV

so this year we're getting snowballs AND fireworks?Big smile
