I play EvE to have fun, and enjoy myself.
As it's a subjective experience theres a lot of room for scope from 1 person to the next.


"If your not having fun, why are you still playing the game ?"
Is a far more pertinent question I feel .....



Funny.... I use to think blowing stuff up is fun, but after a while it gets kinda old when you just keep on killing the same old cruisers day after day, wasting hours of IR time waiting, plotting and hunting when in the end you're no better or more well off than you were yesterday .

This is why I do it with a cloaking device on my ship. I can play another game till the target pops up. I like X-Com.

I just wish there was more rts in this game.

At one point i used to think it was fun to mine or run missions or whatever. Then i moved on to becoming interested in 0.0 politics. Now however...Well none of those things makes me exited anymore.
Honestly the only reason i play now is because i find satesfaction in knowing that i help create a communety that makes people happy (corp members).
Its hard to explain and most likely wont make any sense for most but it truly makes me feel good when people log on year after year,come back from breaks or rejoins the corp and tells us that the only reason they are still playing is because they miss the corp and the members.
Ofc sometimes there is drama which is basically just some extra spice to make things more interesting,but in general its such small things that in the long run means nothing to anyone,and just gives us some good stories to tell the new members Smile

But well...most likely not the kind of reply you were looking for but who knows,maybe creating/running your own corp is something that would help you get the satesfaction you used to have in EVE.

I wish you the best of luck and hope you find something to make EVE feel more fun again Smile

Honestly, Ivy, maybe you need to find a worthy purpose in life.
You're a guy right? Maybe you should try and find a pale pretty girl like the one in your portrait?

And maybe you need to write songs or books, or teach philosophy or english or science.... The list goes on and on.
