Can you recommend a few good pvp podcasts?

I'm a trucker. I drive for UPS and run a small business with my wife so from November through mid February I only have time to sleep, sh!t & work...very little of that time is dedicated to sleeping... honestly it doesn't rate much higher than shitting on the ol' pie chart. So to get in my daily fix of EVE I like to listen to pod casts on my phone while I drive over the mountains.

While surfing the webs one day I found the Kil2 & Kovorix Biringing Back Solo cast and ate them up. That was truly entertaining stuff. Don't get me wrong, I know those guys lose more than they win but I think that it is more to their willingness to commit, balls deep, in really stupid engagements...which is why I like their style. I certainly took a lot from their first season and I will be encorporating those lessons when I get back to it in the spring.

The problem is that I've listened to all 20 episodes now and its only the 2nd of December. I spend a good 12-13 hrs on the road and their aren't many quality podcasts with the overwhelmingly raw amount of content that I'm looking for.

I just started the download on the Fly Wrekless cast for 2011 & 2012. I haven't heard any of them yet so I don't really know if they are any good...or my style. Can any one vouch for the quality of their production? What Do they talk about, politics, mechanics, tactics?

If there are any other really good podcasts out there that you could recommend, leaning toward the mechanics/tactics side of things, I would really appreciate the nod. Not that I don't appreciate the politics of null...I want to hear that too but its easy to burn out on that stuff and by the end of the week it is outdated information.

Bringing Solo Back got me started on EVE podcasts as well. Since they've gone on holiday I've been looking for other podcasts to fill the void.

For PvP, Redboxed looks like it's going to be pretty good. They're just getting started with the podcasting thing I think so it's a little under polished but I like it so far.

I've also been enjoying the Fly Reckless Podcast. Not exactly pvp specific but it's a good podcast if, like me, you spend a lot of time driving because those guys ramble on for hours and hours.

I'm sure there's more. Good luck on your search and let us know if you find any other good ones.

EDIT

Er, I just read your post in total...Fly Reckless seems (from the few episodes I've listened to) to be a Eve general discussion type thing. They discuss the nuts and bolts of different aspects of eve, the fail mails section is hilarious and then they just kinda go on about random eve related (and I use the term loosely) stuff. The most recent episodes have had great discussions on the coming cruiser rebalances that I found really informative.

Honestly, very few are worth your time. It's great that they exist and that people put the time in, but I've never listened to an Eve related podcast that ticked all my boxes.

Yes, that's a personal opinion, but try a few out and you'll see what I mean. Listening to two nerds breathlessly giggling over an in-joke for twenty minutes is not entertaining. Often volume levels are all over the place too, so you might have yourself an aneurysm whilst out jogging. Something to bear in mind.

It's a hard thing to get right. Here's three I'd recommend, though all are still someway short of true greatness.
1. Declarations Of War- My favourite to listen to. Minimal idiocy, a welcome sense of cynicism and genuine knowledge about the game. Likely to have decent guests too (Rooks & Kings turned up recently), and juicy battle reports related in an honest fashion. The last episode, 39, was however totally boring. They would score bonus points if they could upload all their past episodes.
2. Bringing Solo Back- Second choice for me. Lots of valuable lessons to be learned from two seasoned pvp pilots, and frequent good guests. Kil2 and Kovorix are not the most gripping of commentators, and their occassional deluge of stats and percentages may be useful if you suffer from insomnia. It's not big and flashy, but on the whole it works. Solid, if niche.
3. Crossing Zebras- Irritatingly inconsistent podcast, mostly centered around null sec blob wars. Crystal clear production and a genuine and enthusiastic love for the game. They need to drop the ''UR A GAY HURR'' comedy, and just frickin' focus a bit. The music is terrible, and not in a funny way. It's just bad. The FF button gets a workout. Also, you will hear the phrase ''to be honest'' roughly 186 times per hour. That needs to stop, as it ruins an otherwise agreeable podcast. ''To be honest'' is the verbal tick which makes me hesitate over the download button. What does it even mean?

TL:DR - Poke about and you'll find something. You'll probably know if you're into something within 5 minutes. Let us know how you get on to be honest

This made me laugh a lot.

Your critique for all three is genuinely funny - also thanks for the recommendation =D

I enjoyed this one http://www.redboxed.mafiaredux.com/ only 3 so far, started out a little poor with the voice recording and they got better with each episode.

It's a shame they only have 3 out at the moment. I would be interested to listen to the next one when they get around to it.

I have listened to a fair few of the other podcasts out there, the people talking honestly just bore me to death a bit, granted some content in them is interesting to listen to even tho they sound very robotic and nerdy.

I have never before heard such a stream of foul bullsh!t spewing from the a$sholes of a group of loser circle jerking queens.
I am already on episode 8. Thankyou. There really is ZERO useful content but it sure is entertaining. I haunt syndicate. I will have my eyes out for these ucFking clowns... I will likely die in a fire but i will savor the chance to smack talk these basement dwellers while trading lead

Definitely check us out @ www.mafiaredux.com. We've been on hiatus for the past month due to RL and also spending a lot of time whelping fleets. We should have a new episode out this week if everything goes to plan. As for our past episodes, it's been a public trial and error session, so thanks to those who have stuck with us.
