Posting on this toon since all my other accounts are inactive. Most of you know me as Freshclip or Chrismyazz. Terrible pvper extraordinaire...

But yeah...

Kinda been sittin' on this one for a while falling in and out of love with the project but i finally took the time to sit down and get it done. It's a caldari themed video so that's all i will be flying. Mainly raven footage with some ferox and eagle to finish up.

Music wise it's a mix of liquit drum and bass and electro house.

I also added a bit of a twist with a japanese theme since the caldari military are basically futuristic samurai according to the lore.

Anyway here she is. I hope you like it.

Thread is going to be moved to the 'My EVE' section with the rest of the videos I Imagine but...

+1 for good DnB and Electro, and obvious effort put into editing.

Fights were fun but the whole dual ASB thing is a bit played out in my opinion now.

Yeah like i said, been sitting on this one for a while. I started it literally just after inferno came out. I guess it's testament to the mods that they're still in use though. Probably gunna be pvp shield tank of choice for a while.

Fantastic video. Great fights which are different than the usual and the editing + comments were great aswell.

It would be nice to have a kill counter, but thats a minor detail.

I would like to resub but I've just not got the time for it at the moment. I'm trying to focus more on my real life and once i've got that nice and sorted i'll come back to playing internet spaceships =D

Man, been watching alot of eve vids over the last couple of months. This one definitely stands out as one of the best, editing, music perfect (for my tastes) and good video quality upload. Well played to your sir +1 sub.

This is great editing!
Comments and editing gives a nice story, music is well choosen and placed well within the video (or reverse way)
I also liked the fights and the whole thing was really enjoyable entertainment.

I hope you will make more when you will be back to the game...you probably will shoot plenty of drakes again with the HAM boost of the next patch...sorry for you...well thats eve ;)

Thanks for all the positive feedback. This one really has gone down a treat and i'm overwhelmed by all the praise. Well worth the effort put into it and i am heavily considering making another. I will have to see how things are in the new year.

If nothing i hope i have shown what is possible if you put a little effort into your video's instead of just slapping a black box over your chat channels, adding some awful music and uploading it to youtube. =P

Calm down a bit there. I enjoyed your vid because of the editing/music but the main standard is content, which I'd rate as 'meh'. Your capacitor, and ASB management are on the poor side. While I enjoyed your video, I'd much rather watch a video that contains a higher level of pilot skill with 'just a black box over the chat channel, and awful music'.

I'd disagree with the content bit. Haven't seen much(any) raven pewpew and I thought that was really original and enjoyable. As others have said really nice editing and I like your taste of music. Although I have to agree with the ASB management comment you wasted quite a few boosters Evil.

Overall though the actual fights aren't decided so much on who has more skill but mainly who has the better setup when it comes to brawling imo. One of the best vids I've seen in months, looking forward to the next <3.

I'm not ranting, just tryna' give people a little inspiration. I think presentation is a huge part in the entertainment factor of an eve pvp video.

Clarion call comes to mind. If you were to watch the clarion call videos' fights with no narrative, no editing and from the point of view of 1 pilot they would be boring as hell.

Aye, it's a good vid for editing & entertainment, especially the first half/BS stuff. Last fight's ok but not great, and yeah here's hoping the next one has better module management and more piloting. You'll need it with the balance changes Twisted

As always, Freshclips, this video is outstanding. The production values in this and all of your videos are spectacular. It's clear that you put a TON of effort into editing this and I think it's really paid off. The subtle blur on the majority of the screen really does a great job of highlighting the important parts of the fight, the music setup on the right adds a great touch and I really like the way you presented all of the ships involved on your side of the fight including the image of the ship you are flying. I feel like I always learn something about editing whenever I watch your videos.

Another excellent effort from one of my favorite vid makers. Thanks for taking the time to produce this.

You honor me with your compliments =D

I try to apply techniques leaned from photography and cinematography to my works in that i try to focus the eye to the interesting points on the screen to keep it entertaining and "fun" for the eye to look at.

Not quite sure what you mean by the "blur" but if you mean how the video gets darker towards the edges, this is called a vignette and does an excellent job of forcing the viewers eye to the center of the screen.
