Who's to say the cyno pilot wasn't in on it.

As far as what it was supposed to be, eye candy for new assets and tone setting for the content, I liked it quite a bit.

Like any other game turned to movie, all the fans of the game rip apart the film for inconsistencies. Yet the film changed the rules for dramatic flair and to make itself more interesting as you are not participating in the same level as the game... Yet this was a ad for the game. Embellishing is understandable to sell the product yet apparently any real way we actually play the game is too boring. Just like "I was there" interceptor suicide run, or on grid probe and jump.

I wish it was a lot more cinematic and a lot less promo... these trailers aren't as immersive as they used to be. :/
